Rahul Anil Pandit, is an Indian intensivist, critical care specialist, medical researcher and author. He was appointed by the State of Maharashtra, India as a Member of the State Task Force on COVID-19[1][2] in April 2020. He was also appointed by the Supreme Court of India, as a Member of the National Task Force for COVID-19[3][4] response. He was awarded the Maharashtra Jan Gaurav Puraskar[5][6] in August 2021.

His notable research during the COVID-19 pandemic includes his work on Mucormycosis[7][8], acute stroke and COVID-19[9][10], approaches to COVID-19: Therapy and Prevention[11]

He is currently the Director of Critical Care at Fortis Healthcare, Mulund, Mumbai.[12][13][14][15]
