Qualitron is an Indian chemical company, specializing in the development, manufacture, and sale of organic and inorganic pigments. The company is headquartered in Panoli (Ankleshwar), Gujarat, and operates country-wide with a sales network spread across 19 global locations.[1]
Qualitron is best known for its Phthalocyanine pigment products for plastics & polymer applications that are sold under the QCFAST brand. It serves a wide spectrum of customers ranging from plastics, paint, ink, textiles, and rubber industries. The company has received quality certifications from TNV (ISO 9001: 2015), AB-CAB, and NSIC. It has even been registered in SMERA ratings and listed under D&B (Duns & Bradstreet).
History
Qualitron was established in 1996 by Mavjibhai Mavani along with a couple of partners in Ankleshwar, a highly regarded chemical zone in the country. Since its inception, Qualitron has been involved in manufacturing 1-2 grades of Copper Phthalocyanine Blue (CPC Blue).
In 2005, Qualitron began manufacturing various grades of an Alpha form of CPC Blue for various applications, and within a year, it became one of the leading providers for this pigment for the applications of Plastics, Textile, Polymers, Rubbers, Inks, Paints, and Fibers.
In 2007, Qualitron Chemicals began trading and exporting facilities and acquired a wide range of prolific clients such as BASF, DOMS, Ardex Endura, Ultratech (Birla White Division), Meghmani, Ramdev, Choksi Pigments and other industry giants.
In 2013, the founder’s son Dr. Pratik Mavani joined the company. Under his leadership, Qualitron began to expand its product portfolio for various applications by contract manufacturing activities. In 2018, the company received a trademark for its well-known brand (QCFAST).
