Paulina Golkowska (born May 22, 1991) is a Polish actress, educator, and former finance professional. She began her career in finance as a relationship manager at City Credit Capital in London before transitioning into education. Golkowska holds a PGCE in mathematics and has taught at secondary schools in both London and Warsaw. She is the school director at Hubert International School, a private institution offering online and in-person lessons and exam preparation services.[1]

Additionally, Golkowska has pursued a career in acting, with credits in films and audiobooks such as A Ruthless Mind - Race Against Time (2023), The Obnoxious Call (2024), and The Dark Prophecy (2024), produced by One World Novel.

Early life and education

Golkowska was born on May 22, 1991, in Lublin, Poland, to Malgorzata and Hubert Golkowska. She attended primary school in Tarnobrzeg, Poland, where she began her dance training at the Egurrola Dance Studio at the age of 10. Golkowska participated in various dance competitions in the disco dance category and won a singing competition at the cultural center in Tarnobrzeg. She moved to Warsaw with her parents as a teenager and graduated high school there.

In 2013, Golkowska earned a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of East London. She then enrolled at Canterbury Christ Church University, obtaining a PGCE in mathematics in 2016. Additionally, Golkowska holds a postgraduate degree in education and therapy for people with autism spectrum disorder from the Alcide De Gasperi University of Euroregional Economy (WSGE).

Career

Golkowska began her career in finance in 2014 as a relationship manager at City Credit Capital in London, a brokerage firm that offers FX and CFD investments to retail and institutional clients. In 2021, she joined a global advertising, marketing, and public relations firm, Stankevicius MGM, as an investor relations associate.

After obtaining her PGCE in mathematics, Golkowska started teaching mathematics and business studies at various secondary schools in London, including Harris Girls Academy in East Dulwich, Wapping High School in East London, Lynch Hill Enterprise Academy in Berkshire, and Stowarzyszenie STERNIK in Warsaw. In September 2022, she became the school director at Hubert International School, a private institution providing online and in-person lessons, exam preparation for primary and secondary students, and support for adults retaking exams.

Golkowska also pursued a career in acting, joining One World Novel, a production company. She contributed to content filmed in California and Poland, which has been submitted to various film festivals, including the LA Film Festival. She made her acting debut in the film A Ruthless Mind - Race Against Time (2023) by Mac Kamboj, earning the Best Short Appearance award from the Lift-Off Global Network for her role as Gwen Bates. Her other credits include supporting roles in films and audiobooks such as The Obnoxious Call (2024) and The Dark Prophecy (2024).
