Offor Paschal Chineme (born 28 July 2000), also known as Passy, is a Nigerian entrepreneur and crypto trader.[1] Passy is the founder of Passyxchange, a full-service e-commerce company that deals with buying cryptocurrency and gift cards.[2][3][4]
Under Passy’s leadership, Passyxchange has become one of the leading Crypto Exchange brands in Nigeria and is even endorsed by Jeriqthehussla,[5] a renowned Nigerian music artist.[6] Passyxchange has also gained fast-paced recognition for its unique services and reliability and has even won awards for the same.[7][8]
Early life and education
Passy was born in Mushin, Lagos on 28 July 2000 but originally from Oko, Orumba North LGA, Anambra State. He grew up in Mushin, Lagos, graduating from the Lemuel primary school and Royal Kriston College. He is completed BSC from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, UNIZIK in Mathematics.
Career
Passy began his career as an entrepreneur in 2019 when he established Passyxchange with his roommate Tocho and bought his first bitcoin worth $140.[9][10] The website for Passyxchange was launched in October 2020 and then relaunched in March 2021.[11][12][13]
The idea behind creating such a platform was to advance the use and knowledge of the crypto industry in Nigeria along with eradicating crypto-related scams and also creating job opportunities for the younger generation.[14][15][16]
In 2023, it was announced that Passyxchange is launching their mobile app for to sell and buy Crypto.[17][18]
