Nisha Harale was born on 5th March, 1976 in Colaba, Mumbai. She is a Fashion Choreographer[1], Actor[2], Music Artist, Social Activist, and the CEO of Niche Entertainments Pvt Ltd.[3]

Background and Early Life

Nisha Harale was crowned Miss Mumbai in 1996 by Bollywood actor Salman Khan and famous novelist Shobhaa De at The Taj Palace, Mumbai. Nisha finished her education in India and is a certified hairstylist from L'Oréal International Hairdressing Academy. Nisha also flew for an international airline Gulf Air[4] as a cabin crew attendant and was based in Bahrain, where she traveled across the globe. She was the finalist at the Gladrags Manhunt and Megamodel Contest and a columnist who wrote under the name Nisha's Niche for DNA leading newspapers and now continues the same as a blogger/influencer and her recent interview was with Princess Francoise Sturdza from Romania. Nisha was featured on the cover of Island and four times on the cover of Health and Nutrition (Magna Publications) and other magazines like Cosmopolitan (magazine), Vogue (magazine)[5], Seventeen (American magazine), Hello, Femina Miss India and others have featured her. Harale further went on to spearhead a fashion magazine and was responsible for various editorial features and covers. Nisha received 'The Women's Achievers Award'[6] for her campaign towards India's Nightlife which not only made international news but her campaign was documented by BBC World News and Channel 4.[7] Nisha's nightlife campaign 'Mumbai Unite' was supported by India's leading politicians, media, radio, and celebrities.[8] Nisha is a social activist and supports many causes and was last seen supporting the LGBT and Aids Awareness Parade with Smita Thackeray, and Sunny Leone.[9] DNA news media credited her as the youngest achiever and she is Zoom (Indian TV channel)[10], Page 3 culture[11] girl who was also credited by The Times of India for putting Navi Mumbai on the Page 3 party and fashion map[12]. Nisha was featured on a magazine cover as Navi Mumbai's Dynamic Women 2016 for her achievements.

Professional Life

Films

Nisha in her Bollywood career was seen in the movie AB Baas[13] as the second lead with actor Shawar Ali and Miss India World Diana Hayden. Nisha is one of the few celebrities to have walked down at the Cannes Film Festival 2009[14] with Slumdog Millionaire actor Ayush Khedekar, where she was seen walking the red carpet wearing designer Christophe Guillarme[15] and was invited to the premier 'Looking for Eric|Looking For Eric'[16] and later to the after-party at the VIP club with Paris Hilton. Nisha has done theater with the late Alquee Padamsee. She also acted in regional films and had her own television show called Filmi Fast Food and Yoga Lifestyle show on Zee TV. Nisha is the famous Koyta Koyta[17] girl from T- Series music video., in which she acted opposite Krishan Kumar. She is also featured in the ‘Ishq De[18]’ music video by Ishq Bector. She collaborated with Meet Bros, Shibani Kashyap, and Ishq Bector for videos ‘Jeene Do,[19] ‘No Request,[20] and ‘Shukriya.[21] Nisha plays host on MX Player web series for the show Dj Diaries[22] which has completed its first season.

Music

Nisha has hosted many live shows along with Grammy Award Winners Shaggy (musician), UB40, Eric Martin (musician), Atomic Kitten, and International music artists like Above & Beyond (band), Roger Sanchez, Marco V, Yves V, Sick Individuals, The Vamps (British band) to name a few. Nisha hosted many music festivals like VH1 Supersonic, MTV Bacardi Blast, Kingfisher F1 Party, MTV Style Showdown, Playtronix, Oktoberfest for five years and for nine consecutive years has been the face for Holi Reloaded (music festival) and Dance Ganesh. Nisha was signed with BMG Crescendo and her track 'Love Bite' by Sony Music India with Ishq Bector made it to the charts in Canada. Her music track 'No Request[23]' was aired in India, Canada, Dubai, London and America. Her track 'Shukriya' created quite a hype and was aired in India and London. No Request and Shukriya tracks were both a collaborated venture between Ishq Bector and Nisha Harale to support causes through the medium of music. The 'No Request' remix was released by Profound Records which is remixed by International artists Quantum and Keren. Nisha always shows her support to various causes and recently during these covid times Nisha requested her friends from Bollywood, Music and Fashion Industry to show support and spread the message of Love during these hard times on social media Nisha is a professional Dj herself and has played at Playboy Club, nightclubs, events, music festivals. She played the opening sets for Avalon, Laughing Buddha, Ritmo, Vegas, Burning Noise, and others.

Fashion

Nisha plays a vital role in the fashion industry. She is fashion choreographer/show director for various events and brands like Audi,[24] Mercedes-Benz, Gitanjali, Suzuki, Puma (brand), PVH (company),[25] Pepe Jeans, Westside, Pioneer Corporation|Pioneer, Polo (sport)|Polo Sport, Flying Machine, Provogue,[26] Hugo Boss, BIKA, IKFW, Junior Fashion Week, Miss Mumbai, Miss Maxim, Sports Illustrated, Bank of America|Bank Of America, Motorola|Mortorola, National Institute of Fashion Technology|NIFT, INIFD, Sophia College for Women|Sophiya Polytechnic and made her mark internationally in Hollywood (America). She has worked with elite fashion designers like Priya Kataria Puri, Neeta Lulla, Swapniil Shinde (saisha), Nevedita Saboo, Rocky S, Nisha Merchant, Salim Asgarally and many International designers where she received a letter of appreciation by the Australian Embassy. Various celebrity showstoppers like Mugdha Godse, Rahul Dev, Ashmit Patel, Ranbir Kapoor Priyanka Chopra, Shahid Kapoor|Shahid Kapur, Karisma Kapoor|Karishma Kapoor, Soha Ali Khan, Rahul Khanna, Leander Paes, Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon, Rannvijay Singha|Ranvijay Singha and many others have walked on her queue.

Events

Nisha is CEO, Niche Entertainments Pvt Ltd[27] and her company has conceptualized, curated, and managed many events. Niche Entertainments has been associated with many brand launches, lifestyle, fashion, music, and high-profile events/weddings. The much-talked-about Vikram Kumar and Pooja Chitgopikar high-profile wedding in Auckland was managed by her and on 1st June 2020, she launched a 24hrs online Niche Radio.[28] Nisha recently shared the news on her reality show 'The Perfect Look' which has been conceptualized by her and is soon to be launched. Nisha has launched many talents through her various IP'S (fashion, music and lifestyle) New Sound, No Request, Infuze, Ecoshion and groomed many fashion models through Niche Academy who have made their mark internationally and in Bollywood.

Personal Life

Nisha was married to actor Adam Bedi son of International Bollywood actor Kabir Bedi, who was officially knighted by the decree of the President Of The Italian Republic, and Susan Humphreys aka Ixcheal Leigh who resides in United States|America. He is a brother to step-sister Pooja Bedi (daughter of late Protima Bedi). After her marriage to Adam, Nisha was fondly mentioned by the media as Nisha Harale Bedi or Nisha Bedi although she never changed her name legally. Nisha and Adam were a favorite couple and loved by the media, however, their thirteen-year relationship ended mutually in a divorce.[29] Nisha and the Bedi's continue to maintain their family relationship even after her divorce. Nisha has a younger sister Nikita Harale who is a fashion designer, hair and makeup artist herself and her mother Vanita Harale runs a chain of Salon's under the name Pearl Beauty Care Salon. Nisha's dad worked for Mumbai Port Trust and is involved in the family business. Nisha is also known by her artist name Nisha Haraale. Nisha's roots hail from Goa and Pune and a few years ago, she along with her family shifted residence from Colaba to Navi Mumbai.
