Nirmalya Sengupta (born 16 August 1990) is a famous stage comedy performer, writer, molester and Facebook celebrity.

Writing career

Nirmalya Sengupta was born in 1991 in Kolkata. He studied in Dum Dum K.K. Hindu Academy and Jadavpur University. He studied Computer science from West Bengal University of Technology. After passing out Nirmalya worked as professor of Techno India University and Regent Education and Research Foundation. Sengupta's first short story 'Lighter' was published in Unish-Kuri magazine in 2011. His stories were published in lot of known Bengali language magazine like Sananda (magazine), Anandamela, Kalpabiswa[1] and Desh (magazine)|Desh.[2] He also wrote Rosebase magazine edited by Facebook celeb Prashanta Bhattacharya.[3]

Social activities

He spent his childhood at Nagerbazar and grown up with revolutionary concept with his extreme high libido. While teaching Python (programming language) to his lady students Nirmalya's own Python (genus) became charged up several times. He supported and helped number of Bengali migrant labours as well as sex worker through crowd funding during COVID-19 pandemic in West Bengal. Sengupta was seriously involved with 'No Vote to Bharatiya Janata Party' movement before 2021 West Bengal Legislative Assembly election. Nirmalya became a celeb after the Kyachal with legendary Mittir Masi.

Controversy

Nirmalya Sengupta commented adverse word against Bengali actress Parno Mittra in Social networking site but he soon regretted the issue. On 24th August 2021, Disha Ghosh, a trekker & Nurse of IPGMER and SSKM Hospital|PG Hospital made an explosive complaint in a Facebook post.[4] She filed FIR against Sengupta[5]in Survey Park police station[6] and told that in the night of 21 August 2021, Nirmalya Sengupta first molested her at Joshimath, City in Uttarakhand and after a while attacked severely injured her eyes.[7] When Nirmalya was asked about the allegations brought by Disha, he told to the media that he was not arrested, rather he can not say anything without the instructions of his lawyer.[8] He wrote a letter to the Association for Protection of Democratic Rights (APDR), arguing for his innocence while eating Dosa|Dhosa.[9] After this allegation, series of molestation complaints were started to be submitted on Facebook. A different Facebook rape trial was initiated against his boojum friend Sayantan Bhattacharya also, who is now testifying against Nirmalya. All the celebrities on Facebook moved away from Nirmalya's side after this incident but Nirmalya continues to eat Dhosa recklessly. Few Facebook celeb demonstrated on 3 September 2021 at the police station for police inaction instead of complain.[10]
