Nikhil Sharma (born November 4, 1991), popularly known as Mumbiker Nikhil, is an Indian YouTuber, motovlogger, model, and media personality.[2] Sharma gained popularity in 2016 through his motorcycle trip from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, which he documented through his YouTube channel.[3] He has since established a significant digital footprint, with over 4 million subscribers and 1.6 billion views on his channel. His content primarily features solo motorcycle trips, lifestyle, personal vlogs, and travel experiences.[4][5]
Early life and education
Sharma was born on November 4, 1991, in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He developed a passion for motorcycles at a young age. Sharma graduated in hotel management from the Rizvi Institute of Management Studies and Research, Mumbai.
Career
Sharma started his career as a flight attendant at Qatar Airways. In 2012, he returned to Mumbai and ventured into acting, making his debut on the TV show Emotional Atyachar in 2014 on Bindass TV.[6]
In 2013, Sharma created the YouTube channel "Mumbiker Nikhil" and started sharing motovlogs.[7] He initially documented his travels across Mumbai, exploring locales like Marine Drive, Lamington Road, and Chor Bazaar.[8]
His breakthrough came with the documentation of his motorcycle journey to Leh, Ladakh. In 2017, he further solidified his popularity with his K2K video, chronicling his solo journey from Kashmir to Kanyakumari on a KTM Duke 390.[9][10]
Sharma has been instrumental in popularizing motovlogging in India, garnering a substantial following of 4.04 million subscribers on YouTube and 1.4 million followers on Instagram.[11][12][13]
Over the years, Sharma has evolved his content to include travelogues, motorcycle reviews, and lifestyle content. His travel content vlogs feature his trips to various Indian states and international destinations such as Canada, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Macau, Indonesia, Washington, Singapore, South Korea, New York, Tokyo, and San Francisco, among several others.[14]
In 2017, Sharma participated in the YouTube Fanfest in Mumbai, where he showcased his talents with a Harley Davidson.[15] His motorcycle collection includes the Triumph Tiger, Bajaj Eliminator, KTM Duke, and BMW GS15, and he uses a Sony a7Riii camera to create all his videos.[16]
Sharma has collaborated with renowned YouTubers Bhuvan Bam, Prajakta Koli, Ashish Chanchlani, and Technical Guruji.[17] He was featured on the HT Brunch cover in 2020.[18]
Sharma is also the founder of the clothing label "Mumbiker Nikhil," offering a range of products, including clothes, keychains, men's belts, and other accessories.[19][20]

Sharma resides in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He married his wife, Shanice Shrestha, in January 2021. They have a daughter, Sky Sharma, born on December 13, 2021.[23]
