Mo Akram (born July 8, 1991) is an Indian blockchain specialist, entrepreneur, and IT expert. He is the founder of Metaspace, a 3-D virtual metaverse; Payiza, a virtual banking system; and BastionEx, a blockchain development company. His other notable blockchain projects include bulwark blockchain, SheReal, and Floxypay.[1]
He has been credited with several awards for his disruptive innovations. He has been featured in numerous leading media publications and magazines, including Economic Times,[2] Hindustan Times,[3] Gulf News,[4] Disrupt Magazine,[5] Coinpedia,[6] and others.
Biography
Akram was born and raised in Chollawari, Uttar Pradesh. With more than a decade of expertise in the IT and blockchain industries, Akram is widely regarded as an authority on comprehending, developing, and integrating blockchain technology into corporate processes. He is the founder of several blockchain technology companies and innovations with a history of success.[7]
Akram has recently developed MetaSpace, a 3D virtual metaverse where users can create digital avatars and enter an advanced virtual environment where they may socialize, play games, attend concerts, and sell and exchange non-fungible tokens in a decentralized manner from the comfort of their homes.[8]
Akram is the founder of BastionEx, a blockchain development firm specializing in web 3, Defi, and NFT projects. Through BastionEx, Akram has developed blockchain solutions for various projects and businesses.[9]
Payiza, a virtual banking application created in 2017, has simplified and streamlined banking with its distributed ledger blockchain-based e-commerce and banking application. Since its inception, Akram has served as its chief technology officer and founder.[10]
Colexion and SheReal are two of Akram's other noteworthy IT and Blockchain Technology initiatives for which he works as chief technology officer. Colexion was created in 2021 and is one of Asia's leading digital NFT markets. It enables artists to buy and sell their NFTs or digital collectibles to generate cash. SheReal is a women-only network that helps young women achieve advancement and success by connecting them with mentors.[11]
Akram is also the CEO of the domestic money transfer company Yahya, a position he has held since 2015.[12]
Through his work, Akram is known for assisting businesses and organizations in navigating blockchain technology and developing unique solutions.
