Michael Alexander Candelario (born October 2, 1981) is a Puerto Rican serial entrepreneur and a former US Marine Corps. Candelario is the founder of Original Goods, a national cannabis company with operations in over eight states across the US.[1]

Candelario has over a decade’s experience working in various industries including the alcohol industry, the healthcare industry, and the cannabis industry. His vision has transformed Original Goods to secure a strong position and work with a number of high-profile clientele.[2]

Early life and education

Candelario was born on October 2, 1981, in Miami Florida. He grew up in Washington DC and West Virginia. After graduating from high school, Candelario attended the University of Wisconsin, where he pursued a degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship. After acquiring an honors degree in 2009, he enrolled in the Virginia Military Institute, where he trained for five years. Lastly, he graduated first in his class of over 380 Marines from the Parris Island Boot Camp.

Later, he also acquired a Brewmaster degree from the Siebel Institute in Munich, Germany.

Career

Candelario started his career while he was still studying at the University. He founded MAC Property Solutions, a real estate firm that acquires distressed properties and flips and fixes homes and revamps them. The company also deals in the overall operation of acquiring a property to sell it including fixing, and flipping or searching, and finding qualified buyers or investors.[6]

In 2016, Candelario established Original Goods, a national cannabis company with operations in over eight states across the US.[7] Three years later, he co-founded Whole ‘Nother Mother, a manufacturing firm that delivers organic gummy bear products, which possess multiple nutritional values.[8][9]

Personal life

Candelario has three children. He is fluent in English and Spanish. In his free time, Candelario enjoys spending quality time with his family and doing outdoor stuff like camping, hiking, and visiting the national geographic parks. He feels that walking through nature and breathing clean air helps him to relax and get away from the stress of the city.
