Merchant Solutions Corporation (MSC) is a merchant acquirer and payment processor based out of the State of Florida, MSC provides payment card industry (PCI)-compliant payment processing solutions in the United States, Canada, and Europe, and the Caribbean through their Elavon/Fiserv/TSYS partnership. It offers traditional point-of-sale (POS) Kiosk payments, and eCommerce Internet-related, credit card processing, debit card and ACH debit.[1]
MSC was established in 2012 and rebranded in 2017 to “Merchant Solutions”. Merchant Solutions is a pioneering business technology company operating on the POS system SaaS business model. For almost a decade, it has been a recognized ISO for the largest 5 acquirers/processors in the merchant services industry and has served over 100,000 merchants processing over $2 billion yearly.[2]
History
MSC was created with the aim to offer free resources to help startup companies gain momentum, and build their customer base by leveraging technology. The idea was to facilitate economically feasible and customized payment processing solutions that will help the users to streamline their payments, accounts receivables and management systems.[3]
Initially, the firm operated out of Chicago, Illinois, as an Independent Sales Office and then eventually expanded its operations to Orlando, Florida where they grew by leaps and bounds. Since then, it has been offering a vast range of services to retailers and eCommerce merchants but due to the current economic climate MSC is primarily assisting large hotels and restaurants through their innovative programs and offers. MSC’s solutions are PCI compliant and available in the United States, Canada, Europe, and the Caribbean.
MSC along with its strategic partner SHIFT4 Payments, also facilitates the only available pay at the table module for restaurants and hotels that allows hospitality merchants to offer QR payments or NFC contactless Apple Pay/Samsung Pay. It also helps to connect more than 20 different property management software companies creating an all-in-one omni-channel payment processing solution for hotels and restaurants.
MSC has gained recognition for its free equipment program that delivers POS systems with custom programming, Plug and Play installation, remote training, and 24/7 support 365 days a year. MSC ALSO SUPPORTS A surcharge program OR CASH DISCOUNT PRICING MODEL, a proprietary technology incorporated in the POS software that helps in offsetting the location's processing bill. Enabling Merchants of all sizes eliminate up to 90% off their credit card processing bill.
