Matt Frauenshuh completed his undergraduate studies at St. Olaf College. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business economics. He received his MBA from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. In 2002, the Frauenshuh family founded Frauenshuh Inc., a corporate and healthcare real estate company. Matt Frauenshuh currently serves as the company’s principal.[1]

Frauenshuh joined his family’s DQ Grill & Chill franchise group, Fourteen Foods, as Chief Executive Officer in 2006. The first franchise was in Minnesota. When he joined, there were seven stores associated with the franchise group.[2] There are now over 240 locations in 13 states, making it the largest Dairy Queen franchise in the world.[3] The group has approximately 9,000 employees.[4]
