Early life and education

Maksim Sulimau was born and raised in Gomel, Belarus, where he showed an early interest in sports like water polo and karate. He later pursued a degree in economics at a Belarusian university. During this time, he engaged and explored diverse fields, including website creation and promotion. At age twenty-four, he became a YouTube blogger, embarking on a new path in digital content creation and online media.[11]

In 2015, Sulimau initiated his career as a YouTuber by establishing the YouFact channel in Russian, later expanding to include German, Spanish, English and French versions. He specializes in creating videos centered around technological innovations and intriguing fact-based content. Recognizing the potential for multiple channels catering to diverse linguistic audiences, Sulimau diligently assembled a proficient team responsible for generating captivating video concepts, translation, dubbing, editing, and other essential tasks.[12]

With his project growing steadily, Sulimau's operations now encompass a team of 30 individuals, managing nine channels available in 30 languages.[13] His have garnered immense popularity, attracting millions of subscribers and hundreds of millions of views worldwide, earning him recognition from YouTube with a Gold Play Button for surpassing one million subscribers and five Silver Play Button for reaching over 100,000 subscribers each.[14]

Looking ahead, Sulimau envisions expanding his YouFact network by developing 30 additional channels, accommodating audiences in Hindi, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, and Arabic, broadening the reach of his captivating and diverse content.[15]
