Lucia Zambetti (born December 20, 2003) is an American singer-songwriter, blogger, instrumentalist, and social media personality. She is known for her work as the Creative writer, editor, and illustrator of The Teenage Socialite blog, where she explores the philosophical and cultural aspects of growing up as a young woman in the modern era.[1]
Zambetti released her debut single "That Night" in 2019 and has since released nine singles, including "Dance Dance," "Space," "Good Luck With You," "You'll Be Fine," and "Don't Call Me Baby." She is a recording artist under Z Sauce Music. Zambetti also engages in product collaborations and sponsorships on her Instagram and TikTok accounts.[2]
Early life and education
Zambetti was born on December 20, 2003, in New York City. She grew up in a musically inclined family, where her father, Teddy Zambetti, is a composer and her mother is a classical musician. Zambetti studied dance at the Ailey Dance School in New York City before shifting her focus to music during her teenage years. Her passion for music was influenced by her family, including her cousin Johnny Zambetti of The Palms, who has collaborated with her on several releases.
Zambetti graduated from Riverdale Country School in 2022. She is pursuing her undergraduate degree at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., focusing on Philosophy, Theology, Writing, and Italian Language studies.
Career
Zambetti started her music career in late 2019 with the release of her debut single, "That Night," which gained significant attention on various music streaming platforms. She has released several singles, including "Dance Dance," "Space," "Good Luck With You," "You'll Be Fine," and "Don't Call Me Baby." Her music is available on major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Soundcloud, Apple Music, YouTuber, and Deezer. As of May 2024, she had over 50,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.[3]
Zambetti is a recording artist at Z Sauce Music, an independent label founded by her family. She has collaborated with various musicians, including her cousin Johnny Zambetti of The Palms, guitarist Smokey Hormel, rapper Tate Tucker, and Michael Zacharin of Bravery. She has performed at venues such as Pearl Street Warehouse in Washington, D.C., Crescendo Studios in Virginia, Heaven Can Wait in New York City, and Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, New York.[4]
In addition to her music career, Zambetti is active on social media, self-managing her platforms with over 89,400 followers on Instagram. She has collaborated with Yves Sant Laurent, Marc Jacobs, Réalisation Par, and Garage Clothing, among others.[5]
In 2022, Zambetti started her blog "Teenage Socialite," where she explores the philosophical and cultural aspects of growing up as a young woman in the modern era. She was also the marketing assistant for the 2023 DAP Contemporary Dance Festival in Pietrasanta, Lucca, Italy.
