Notable films that were made by LT11 include Deep Water, Dreamland, Freedom of the Wheels, The Abyss, Park Life, Storm Giant, Magic Mushroom, Golden Gate, and Zodiac. The company had also been an exclusive media partner for USA Climbing from 2008-2018 covering all events from photography to live broadcast. Louder Than Eleven photographed the debut of the “Sport Climbing” event at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.[4]

History

Louder Than 11, also known as LT11 was founded in Boone, North Carolina in 2008 by Jon Glassberg and Jordan Shipman.[5] The company, since its inception, has focused on producing creative photo and video content for the outdoor industry. Early on, LT11 covered climbing competitions and documented climbing events through broadcast and event wrap ups. From 2008 to 2018, Louder Than 11 was USA Climbing's exclusive media partner, creating all of the NGO's photo and video content as well as live-streaming all national events.[6]

In 2014, Jordan Shipman stepped away from the partnership, and Jon Glassberg took over as the sole owner of Louder Than 11. Glassberg is a professional climber with over two decades of experience and with the rise of LT11 he has shifted his focus to Director and creative production manager.[7] The company's current concentration is on documentary climbing films, commercial content for the outdoor industry, and photography. Under his direction, LT11 has produced award-winning documentaries, commercial film ads, and adventure media campaigns for some of the industry's most well-known brands.[8]

The company has even forged connections with a diverse group of pro athletes and outdoor industry brands including The North Face, Mountain Hardwear, Marmot, Black Diamond, and Buff.[9]
