Kelvin Mensah (born on 1, February 1991) popularly known as PJ KEV is an African American entrepreneur and private jet broker.[1] He has created his name as one of the world’s leading private jet brokers who has sold well over 200 jets.[2] As a jet broker, Mensah does not own any aircraft, but he matches buyers and jet owners, he has developed relationships with several celebrities and influential people including Meek Mill, Young Thug, Tyga, French Montana and Neymar Jr. He is often their first choice to close a jet deal for them.[3]
In the last couple of years, Mensah has developed a global network of private jet owners and has access to nearly all categories of aircraft.[4] He has achieved a tremendous amount of success as an entrepreneur in the private aviation industry, Mensah started a mentorship program which aims at offering several resources and funds to the children in order to help them excel academically.
Mensah is the co-author of the book “How To Get Funding For Your Startup” that focuses on providing the readers with tips and tricks on capital raising initiatives and assisting them to think more strategically.[5]
Early life and education
Mensah acquired an associate’s degree in business management and marketing from Syracuse University in New York. He graduated in 2014, and soon after that, he started to focus on his entrepreneurial career.
Career
Mensah started his career in 2014 when he founded Millionaire Conversations LLC. This very first venture of Mensah aimed at providing a platform to the entrepreneur, small and large scale business owners to share their visions, ideologies and success stories. Mensah’s vision for this platform was to make a significant impact by sharing personal development stories, inspiring the people of America.
After working for over a year with Millionaire Conversations LLC, Mensah was offered a job as a creative marketing director at ConnectPal, a leading digital marketing firm in America. By the end of 2015, Mensah joined TONITE, an entertainment company owned by Justin Combs (son of P.Diddy) to overlook business growth and development. He was responsible for acquiring sponsorships and brand partnerships. Mensah left TONITE after a year.
In 2015, Mensah also co-founded MyExoticLifestyle, a company based in Miami, Florida that offers luxury concierge services to the people seeking a lavish lifestyle. Mensah left MyExoticLifestyle after two years to become a brand partner for VOMOS. VOMOS is a free mobile application best known for providing premium features. Users can book exotic cars, ground transportation, private aviation, charter yachts and mansions and villas via VOMOS, a one-stop platform to satisfy consumer demand.
In 2019, Mensah built up his very own brand name PJ KEV, and set on a path to become the world’s youngest private jet brokers in the world.[6] He started servicing celebrities, business owners and several other influential, and high net-worth people from all walks of life.[7] Mensah has been flying recording artists, celebrities, athletes and top executives around the world; including Scott Disick, Young Thug, Tyga, French Montana, and Neymar Jr.[8]
Soon after starting his career in private aviation, Mensah embarked on a philanthropic journey to start a mentorship foundation which aims at providing children with the tools and resources to excel academically.[9]
In the beginning to 2020, Mensah became a venture partner for EONXI, a startup studio that invests in seed stage companies with a focus on emerging technology.
Throughout his career, Mensah developed close relationships with multiple influencers who are willing to travel with him while raising awareness around Africa’s multitude of resources and tourist attractions. He has already discussed ventures in Africa with the likes of Meek Mill, Akon, and Sean Combs.
Personal Life
Mensah is of Ghanaian origin, but his parents shifted to the United States a few months before he was born. His passion for the lavish industry started blooming in his highschool years, This is what led Mensah to pursue a career in business development in order to learn the ropes of the business world. Mensah since the very beginning aspired to reach the highest level, and this is what drove him to follow his dreams and excel in his job as a luxury brand innovator.
