Keith Ross Nelson (born 26 April 1955) is an American actor, comedian, and writer.[1][2] Nelson is best known for the 2018 television series Not For Nothin’.[3] Nelson has starred in several independent films and television shows including, Mobsters and Mormons, The R.M., Who's Who, Evening at the Improv Entertainment Tonight, Comedy Express, and others.[4][5][6][7]
Nelson has over 25 years of experience as an actor/comedian and is recognized for his witty commentary and stand up acts.[8] He was also the winner of the 2005 Portland Comedy Competition.[9][10][11][12]
Nelson has been featured in several media outlets and podcasts including, LA Wire, The Bash, NY Weekly, All Things Comedy, Live Nation, iHeart, and others.[13][14][15][16]
Early life and education
Nelson was born on 26 April 1995 in Portland, Oregon. He pursued his high-school education at Sunset High School, where he played football, basketball, and track. Later he attended the University of Oregon, where he did a bachelor’s degree in physiology and participated in athletics.
Career
Nelson has had a successful career as an athlete. He won the National Championships three times in a row. Nelson is also a record holder in the Masters High Jump and was #1 in 2000 for outdoor high-jumping and in 2006 for indoor high-jumping.
Nelson has been an active participant in the entertainment industry for over 25 years. He has played an integral role as an actor, writer, producer, and director in several independent films, T.V. shows, and events.

Nelson is married and has three daughters and two sons. He is also a 3rd degree Kung Fu Black Belt holder.
