Jose Belman (born 19 November 1981) is an American real estate entrepreneur, business executive, and keynote speaker based in Salinas, CA.[1] He is the founder of Capital Homes Investments LLC, one of the leading real estate firms in the country best known for the acquisition, redevelopment, and management of residential properties assets.[2]
Known for his exceptional investment portfolio Belman has been featured in the Real Estate Multi-Family Hall of Fame with ReMentor a Boston Real Estate Education Company and is regarded as one of the most prolific industry experts in the country. Belman has attracted a lot of attention as a result of his several seven-figure revenue streams from his foreclosures becoming a highly sought-after real estate mogul. Belman is also seen as a guest at a number of industry events, podcasts, and TV shows sharing his expertise and success story.[3]
Early life and education
Belman was born on 19 November 1981 in Salinas CA. His parents worked as picking lettuce, strawberries, and Brocolli in Salinas CA, later on, selling Music CDs door to door when Belman was 6 years old. Soon, he also started helping his parents to sell music in Flea market and the family eventually opened a local record store.
After graduating from Alisal High School, Belman went to San Jose State University, where he acquired his bachelor’s degree in Finance with SJSU in 2004.
Career
Belman left his home when he turned 18 and moved to San Jose to pursue higher education. A few months later he began working at a Real Estate Company, in Campbell CA in order to pay the bills and for his education.[4] He worked as a Mortgage Advisor for Silverado Financial and was responsible for analyzing properties later to realize he wanted to analyze Real Estate Investments.[5]
Simultaneously, Belman started Capital Homes Investments in 2001. By the age of 21, Belman owned 15 real estate properties in Northern California, Texas and Georgia. The company primarily deals in residential real estate such as Multi-Family, and since its inception has completed $100,000,000 worth of projects.[6] Under Belman’s leadership, Capital Homes Investments focuses on the acquisition, redevelopment, and management of residential properties assets throughout California and Many other States in the U.S.[7]
Personal life
Belman married his High School sweetheart Maria Belman in 2007 after dating for over seven years. The couple currently lives in Salinas, CA, with their daughter Hannah Z. Belman who is almost three years old. They adopted Hannah from a family based in Houston, Texas. Belman is fluent in English and Spanish.
