Jelle Van Vucht (pronuciation: elle vaan vukht) or famously known as Jelly on social media sites like YouTube, Instagram etc, is a Dutch gaming youtuber from the Netherlands. He was (born October 14th 1996)[2] in Roermond the Netherlands. He owns a Video game culture channel where he uploads 2 videos daily but occasionally also upload few vlogs. He is a member of the Robust team which includes Him, Josh (Slogo) and Crainer (Youtuber) who replaced Kwebblekop.

Personal Life

Jelly was born in Roermond in the Netherlands as Jelle Van Vucht on the 14th of October 1996[3] he is now 24 years old, he has an older brother called Koen Van Vucht and he is dating his co-youtuber who is called imasanna in YouTube. He graduated high school and then went and joined Eindhoven University of Technology, but he didn't stay and complete his education there[4] as he felt it didn't interest him that much. he knows few languages such as German, Dutch and English etc[2]. he had two other channels called Gta5videos but he was more of an employee in this channel[5], and he ownes a vlog channel called jelly vlogs but he stated he never uploaded in that channel. Additional his favourite colour is green.

Youtube Life

Prior 2014:

Jelly used to make funny acting videos like Action film|action, Combat|fighting and additional freerunning during his pre-teens[6], yet we still don't know which channel did he upload them. He also used to make videos playing GTA 5 and used to upload them on his youtuber channel called GTA-5 videos in his early teens. He used to upload these gaming videos so that he could impress his friends and family, however other people started to view his gaming content, which led him to become a part-time youtuber along with his studies[7]. he also had a channel called Jelly-vlogs in which as he stated never upload a single vlog. He also stated that these channels are still on youtube; so if you want to see them you could.

2014:

In the year of 2014, Jelly created his new and official YouTube channel called JellyYT in May 17th[8]. But this time he took youtube creating as a serious job and started by upload Grand Theft Auto V|GTA 5 funny moments videos and Garry's Mod. Within the 1st month of uploading videos, he gained 40,000 subscribers due to his fame from his older channel GTA 5 Videos[2]. he used to play with Kwebblekop and Aquib (youtuber)|Aquib during this year. These three were the original members of the team Robust. He used to upload 2 videos and still do from this year.

2017 ~ 2018:

by the beginning of the year, 2017 jelly nearly reach the subscriber mark of 6,000,000 subscribers[3]. Jelly also started making videos on other games such as roblox, fortnite and minecraft and a few other. He also made few vlog videos along side slogo , Kwebblekop and few other youtubers like messyourself in a small vacation/holiday or in a gaming event. Near the end of the year Jelly, Josh (slogo) and Jordie (Kwebblekop) moved in together in New York City, US, However that was short lived as they were kicked out a few days later by the landlord. Jelly made Diss (music) called Go Get Gone[9] on Josh and Jordie after Jordie dissed them both, but Jelly is still in wait for a disstrack from Josh. He also started uploading games like Golf it, Party panic ,and Gang Beasts etc. By the end of 2018 jelly hit the mark of 10,000,000 subscriber, and to celebrate that he partnered with The Gregory Brothers and created the song celebration time[10]. he even made his friend and fellow Youtubers to Roast Battle|roast him for that.[11]

2019 ~ present

In 2019 Jelly started to play a minecraft survival series which was troll series along with Josh, soon Jordie also Join and few other modded and hardcore survival games with slogo[12]; but Jelly slowly stoped playing with Jordie. In late 2019 jelly started to play along with crainer and Josh. he was He also He also won the gaming Influencer of the year award of the year 2019, as he was the 4th most viewed youtuber of the that year just behind Pencilmation, Felipe Neto and PewDiePie|Pewdipie[13][14]. he also started to play along with a smaller youtuber called Dino (Youtuber)|Dino and his girlfriend sanna, roblox and few other simulator games. Jelly in present has more than 20,000,000 subscribers; he made his friends and fellow youtubers to roast for his 20 million subscriber milestone to.[15] Nowadays he plays games like The Game of Life|game of life 2 but online and Among Us|among us. He also make Minecraft Speedrun|speedrunners vs hunters video which he was inspired by Dream (YouTuber)|Dream; which he play along with his friends. but this version has a twist; instead of killing the ender dragon they have to mine a trophy. Jelly has a fast growth in subscriber since the pandemic, because most people only use the internet to entertain themselves nowadays. Jelly was nominated for the streamy award for the gaming category in 2020[16], but didn't win, as Dream won.

Robust

In 2014 Jelly consisted of the Robust team, in which included Jelly, Kwebblekop, and Aquib but he (Aquib) soon was replace by Josh aka slogo as he left[3]. In late 2019, Jelly started to play along with slogo and crainer. Near the end of 2019 Jelly announced that Kwebbelwkop left the Robust team and that crainer will be replacing him in the robust team.[3]

Relationship

Jelly is dating his girlfriend Sanna, who is also a fellow Youtuber herself. They met in 2014 and they are in a healthy relationship till the present.[2]

Philanthropy

In early 2021 Jelly also parterned with Rocket League for Gamers Without Borders who planned to donate $10 million dollar for Charity (practice) so that they could distribute covid-19 vaccines to developing countries.[17][18]

'Merchandise

On October 14th of the year 2014 Jelly launched his first Merchandising in Jellystore.com[19], which was the jelly hoodie but a few months later he launched the first ever jelly shirt. But Jelly has grown his merchandise and now sells a variety of products , such as gaming controllers, school accessories, beach towels etc. He also launched some limited time products, which were glow in the dark gaming controller, glowing the dark hoodie, team beeny shirts from one of his minecraft survival series and other limited product and offers.
