Jack Carrick is an English entrepreneur and engineer based in East Sussex. He is the founder and managing director at The Lamp Workshop, a high-end lighting, chandeliers, and lamp repairing and restoration business.[1][2]
Carrick is skilled in electrical restoration, CAD design, lamp making, and engineering and is known to have worked with high-profile clients such as Sotheby's and the US ambassadorial residence in London.
Early life and education
Carrick was born and raised in Bexhill in the United Kingdom. He completed his secondary education at Bexhill High School.
Career
In 2006, Carrick began his profession as a self-employed lighting technician. Carrick worked at Collier Webb Ltd. and on various independent projects before creating The Lamp Workshop.[3][4]
Carrick is the current managing director of The Lamp Workshop, a company he founded in 2007. Carrick, his father, and two brothers manage and operate The Lamp Workshop, a family-run business. The company has established itself as a high-end chandelier repair, lighting, and vintage lamp restoration company in East Sussex that serves London and the Southeast. It is known that the organization has worked with renowned interior designers, antique dealers, and high-end clientele such as Sotheby's and the US ambassador's residence in London. Since its inception, with its members' combined efforts and skills, The Lamp Workshop has emerged as the leading provider of high-end lamp and chandelier restoration across the UK.[5]
