Israeli Tactical School is an American-based counter-terrorism school & Executive Protection training school that offers a range of comprehensive training programs encompassing a diverse array of skills and techniques. It was established in November 2011 by Tomer Israeli, a former officer of the Israeli Secret Service (Shabak/Shin-Bet).[1][2]

Founded in 2011 by Tomer Israeli, Israeli Tactical School is a private bodyguard and counter-terror academy headquartered in Florida with offices in multiple U.S. locations, including Florida, Pittsburgh, Los Angeles and Texas. The institution provides specialized training for executive protection, counter-terrorism, and security services.[3]

The Israeli Tactical School is affiliated with prominent law enforcement agencies, security units, and government entities.[4] The academy offers elite bodyguard training services to various clients, including the U.S. federal government, foreign governments, and international security units. Its reputation extends beyond national borders, and its training programs have achieved industry recognition, leading to positions with respected employers such as Fortune 500 companies and head of state protection units and SWAT units in Asia and SWAT units from the middle east.[5]

Training programs

The Israeli Tactical School offers specialized training programs to civilians and corporations across the USA, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. The training programs are designed to prepare individuals for executive protection and counter-terrorism roles.[7] The curriculum includes Live Fire Close Quarters Battle (CQB) room clearing, shooting exercises involving vehicles and motorcade ambush scenarios, urban warfare team tactics, airborne tactical training with ‘little bird’ helicopters, fast rope, rappelling, hot breach, cold breach, counter-surveillance strategies, and executive protection in high-risk environments. The training extends to emergency scenarios, live-fire combat, and hand-to-hand combat, as individuals and in team settings. The institution offers tailored courses for government agencies, including Air Marshal Training, SWAT Training, Aviation Chief Security, and Head of State Protection.[8]

Notable trainees

Notably, the school has trained the Thailand CSD Counter Terror Commando unit since 2018, State SWAT unit in the middle east and engaged in projects for foreign Asian governments, including the heads of state protection units.[9] It is known to have trained law enforcement officers from 45 agencies, including the US Army Special Forces, US Secret Service, and FBI, as well as international entities like the Swiss Army Delta Force and French SWAT.[10]
