Harshada Pathare is an Indian author, mythologist, and contrarian thinker based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.[1] She is best known for her books, Love Talks, Oceanic Heart, and You Complete Me, to name a few.[2][3] Pathare also runs a YouTube channel called Shodh Documentaries that throws light on mythological mysteries and other innovative concepts. She is also a podcaster who runs the show Rethink, of which she has released four episodes to date.[4][5]

Pathare has also been a Mega Winner of the Blogger and Content Creator Award felicitated by the Navi Mumbai Chamber of Business and Industries.[6][7]

Early life and education

Pathare was born to Asmita Pathare, the mother, and Anil Kumar Pathare, the father, in Mumbai, Maharashtra.[8] Living in a middle-class ecosystem, she learned to explore frugal innovation and creative ways to achieve her goals. Pathare completed her schooling at Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania School. Thereafter, she completed her Master’s in Commerce from Mumbai University, and further completed her CS Intermediate from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Pathare is also an alumna of Xavier School of Management, where she got her degree in Human Resources Management.

Pathare has also completed a Structured Innovation Process course with a focus on Design Thinking Skills and Disruptive Innovation. She is currently pursuing her literary endeavors with a full-time job at an MNC.

Career

Pathare is a professional author, poet and public speaker.[9][10] She started her writing career in 2007 and has authored five books to date.[11] As a contrarian thinker, she often feels about and write on topics like women empowerment, human emotions, and Design Thinking,[12] to name a few. Along these lines, Harshada has also launched her SHODH Documentary series on YouTube that hopes to bring light to mythological mysteries.[13] She has published several books, which are compilations of her poetry, the latest of which is Love Talks. Pathare also runs a podcast called Rethink that talks about redefining your status quo with creativity. She has released four episodes of it so far.[14]

Pathare has been featured in various media platforms like The Deccan Herald,[15] The American Reporter, Yahoo!Finance, London Journal, The US Fiji Times, Outlook, and The Pioneer.[16] Besides, Harshada has immense knowledge and respect for Indian culture, spirituality, and Vedic mythology.[17] Nature and spirituality is her source of inspiration and she finds her solace in literature. Coffee Talk, Night Talks, and Love Talks of Radha Krishna, are some of the poems written by her. She is also fond of writing quotes that are published on Goodreads.[18][19]

The Lift-Off Film Festival - First-Time Filmmaker Sessions has nominated HARSHADA's film -The Shodh Documentary- Bleeding Goddess in July 2022.

Books

Pathare is a best-selling author and poet known for her book Love Talks which she recently published in 2020.[22] She has authored four other books which are Oceanic Heart (2007), A Piece of Paradise (2011), You Complete Me (2014), and Your Majesty (2016).

Podcasts

Pathare also runs a podcast called ‘Rethink’ that talks about redefining your status quo with creativity. She has released four episodes of it so far.

Personal life

Besides her work life, Pathare likes to travel, listen to people’s folktales, and learn new art. She is fluent in English, Marathi, Hindi, and Bangla.
