HOLT is a global real estate development and hospitality brand that owns, leases and operates short term rental properties, in addition to providing a host of other travel and tourist related services.[1] HOLT was established in 2018 by Benjamin Earley and Ioana Holt with the aim to facilitate luxury short-term rental accommodation for the modern traveler.[2] Within three years, the company has opened properties across four locations - Aspen, Bucharest, Oaxaca de Juarez, and San Miguel de Allende.[3]
Since its inception, HOLT has gained recognition for its customer service and bespoke holiday experiences by hosting short-term stays at leased luxury properties that have been renovated and organized to meet the highest hospitality standards.[4][5]
History
HOLT was founded in 2018 by a leading travel entrepreneur - Benjamin Earley and his wife Ioana Holt. Initially, the company operated on a small scale - where the founders hosted guests themselves. Eventually, HOLT started gaining recognition for its excellent customer service and luxury accommodation - which led the founders to build their own properties from scratch in order to give a personalized touch that meets the highest standards of the hospitality industry.[6]
The first properties that HOLT acquired were in Aspen, Colorado and Bucharest, Romania. HOLT later expanded to Mexico, by opening properties after full renovations in Oaxaca de Juárez and San Miguel de Allende.[7]
As of 2021 HOLT continues to grow in the current markets, and plans to start its operations in Spain and Dubai in 2022.

HOLT has a long list of properties that are designed to offer a luxury experience to travelers. These properties can be booked online via the company’s website and other travel booking sites.
Aspen
The HOLT properties in Aspen include a renovated a two-story condo at the base of Ajax Mountain. The company also holds multiple central homes in the town, as well as in nearby Basalt.
Bucharest
The HOLT properties in Bucharest are highlighted by a contactless boutique apartment complex with nine studio and one-bedroom apartments, called HOLT Old Town. In partnership with the building’s owners, HOLT fully renovated a historical landmark building in the heart of Old Town and converted the space into nine suites, finished off like a 5-star hotel. The other HOLT properties are a handful of three- and four-bedroom apartments located around the city center. Two are located in the home of Corneliu Coposu in Unirii, another historical landmark renovation.
Oaxaca de Juarez
As of 2021, HOLT owns a single property in Oaxaca de Juárez. Villa Noria - La Casa del Barro Verde that can accommodate up to 20 guests. This property is the largest and most luxurious in all of Oaxaca de Juárez, making it the premier destination for groups looking to explore the city and the state of Oaxaca. HOLT offers an in-house chef with a menu specially designed for their guests, as well as drivers, tours, in-home mezcal tasting and more.
San Miguel de Allende
As of 2021, HOLT operates a single property in San Miguel de Allende. Named Casa Parque Juárez for its proximity to the famous park, it can accommodate up to 12 guests. Walking distance to all the highlights of the city and includes a housekeeper and free breakfast each weekday morning.
Operations
HOLT leases and purchases properties before renovating them to bring them to a luxury level for guests traveling from all over the world.[8] HOLT’s in-house design team collaborates with local specialists and suppliers to renovate and furnish homes in order to create a luxury standard that has earned the company a loyal customer base.[9]
