Early life and education
Cronan was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She developed a passion for literature at a young age, which led her to pursue a degree in English and Comparative Literary Studies from Occidental College, where she graduated with honors. In 2009, she earned a master's degree in English from Portland State University.
Career

Cronan resides in Portland, Oregon, with her husband and two children. She is involved in charitable initiatives focused on preserving rainforests and protecting endangered species.
