Filika Dimo Ujka (August 1, 1939 – October 21, 2021)[1] was an Albanian actress, best known as Agent Beatrice Shmid in Koha nuk pret.[2] She played hundred characters in Aleksandër Moisiu Theatre in Durres such as Tuaneta in I Semuri per Mend.[3]
Life and death
Filika Dimo was born on August 1, 1939 in Tirana, Albania. Her first role in cinema was Shpresa in second Albanian–Soviet split film Furtuna (1959). Later she played many characters in Albanian films Mengjese te reja[4] (1980), Deshmoret e Monumenteve[5] (1980), Flete te Bardha[6] (1990) and many more. One of the best roles to be remembered was Agent Beatrice Shmid in TV movie Koha nuk pret (1984). She appeared in numerous theatrical shows in Aleksandër Moisiu Theatre in Durres.[7] After 1990s Dimo emigrated in Belgium where she died at 82 in Brussles.[8] She was survived by her two daughters and grandchildren.[9]
