Early life and education

Yadav was born on September 14, 1997, in Gurugram, Haryana, India, to Ram Avtar Singh Yadav and Sushma Yadav. He grew up with a supportive family that encouraged his creative pursuits. Yadav attended Amity International School in Gurgaon for his primary and secondary education. He later graduated from Hansraj College, Delhi, with a Bachelor of Commerce. He also pursued professional development in digital marketing, obtaining a certification from Google Partners.

Career

In 2016, Yadav embarked on his content creation journey, sharing videos across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. His YouTube channel, "Elvish Yadav," launched in April 2016, featuring comedic content, pranks, and glimpses of daily life.[7] His distinctive Haryanvi accent, particularly recognized in India, propelled him to prominence. Known for witty desi spoofs, engaging vines, and captivating parodies, he has positioned himself as a leading Indian YouTuber.[8]

His inaugural video, "How Voice Takes a Selfie," garnered over 10 million views. Notable videos include "School Life – Then Vs Now," "Delhi to Hyderabad with Round2Hell," and "Elvish Yadav Roasting TikTokers."[9]

In 2019, Yadav launched another channel, "Elvish Yadav Vlogs," that provided insights into daily life and featured short films. His YouTube channels, "Elvish Yadav" and "Elvish Yadav Vlogs," have amassed over 13.3 million and 6.36 million subscribers, respectively.[10][11]

In July 2023, Yadav made a wild card entry into the second season of Bigg Boss OTT. Rapidly gaining popularity, he emerged as a favored contestant and secured victory on August 14, 2023, after a four-week stay.[14][15][16]
