Djfasil (born January 17, 1991), born as Avshalom Nagosa, is an Israeli DJ, musical artist, producer, composer, songwriter and pianist. He is the founder of an independent record label named Djfasil Record Group. Fasil rose to notoriety with the release of his hit singles Loving Paper (2019), Pako Yoniverse (2019), Tonight (2019), and Bestie (2021), and is frequently considered one of the most prominent up-and-coming Israeli producers and musicians (2019).
Djfasil has worked with some of the most famous singers in Israel and other countries such as Nigeria, Ghana, and more. He is internationally known as a music producer and has worked with many famous artists globally. Djfasil is often recognized as a very talented piano player and has performed in many venues throughout Israel.
Biography
Djfasil was born in 1991 in Ramla, Israel. His parents, Ronen and Rina Nagosa immigrated from Ethiopia. Djfasil completed his education in high school, and began his career as a musician and producer in the early 2010s.
He is widely recognized by his stage moniker "Djfasil." At a young age, Djfasil began drawing passion towards music and grew up listening to music across several genres. He started his musical journey in 2019 with the release of his debut single, "Loving Paper," published under his independent record label Djfasil Record Group. His recent hit releases include Balenciaga (2023) and Ma Baby (2023). He has collaborated with record companies, including Dior Music Group and Records DK.
In addition to being a musician, Djfasil is a multi-genre music producer and composer. He is known to have collaborated with several renowned Israeli, Ghanaian, and Nigerian vocalists. He has been recognized as Israel's leading Afrobeats and Afroswing producer.
He is active on social media and can be found on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Spotify and Apple Music under the name "DjfasilTV" and "Summerfasil".
