Dan Fleyshman (born September 2, 1982) is a well-known American entrepreneur, angel investor, social media mogul, author, keynote speaker, and philanthropist. He is recognized as the youngest founder of a publicly traded company, having launched the "Who’s Your Daddy" energy drink at age 23.[1] Fleyshman is also the founder of Elevator Studio and Celebvidy and has been involved in several other successful ventures.[2][3]

As a philanthropist, he founded the Model Citizen Fund in 2011 to support homeless and hungry individuals in the United States and around the world. Additionally, Fleyshman is a prolific speaker and author, having spoken at over 250 events and written two books, including "How to Set-Up Your Personal Brand for Under $1,000," which was published in 2021.[4]

Early life and education

Fleyshman was born and raised in San Diego, California. grew up doing a variety of jobs, including selling cereal boxes, candies, peanut butter, and crackers, to support his studies.

Fleyshman graduated from Patrick Henry High School with a diploma in marketing in 1999. At the age of 17, he started selling hoodies that turned into a multi-million dollar clothing brand, selling $15 million worth of clothing in six department store chains and surpassing expectations with his $9.5 million licensing deal with STARTER apparel.

Career

In 1999, Fleyshman launched "Who’s Your Daddy" energy drink in 55,000 retail stores and military bases and took it public at age 23, becoming the youngest person in history to start a publicly traded company. He later founded Victory Poker, which became one of the top 5 online poker brands internationally.[5]

In 2008, Fleyshman established Platinum Collections, a company that specialized in luxury products such as jewelry, electronics, artwork, and fashion from all over the world. During the year 2014, Fleyshman served as the CEO of Ivy League and the CEO of 1stSlice.com from January 2015 to May 2016.[6]

In 2014, Fleyshman established a celebrity video greetings company, Celebvidy. The website allows fans to purchase video greetings and ask questions directly to celebrities, athletes, fitness experts, and business leaders at an affordable price.[7][8]

In 2016, Fleyshman founded Elevator.Studio, a social media agency that works on influencer campaigns. The agency is known for its collaboration with more than 600 influencers and handles campaigns for several prominent companies. Additionally, the agency has organized 30 "Elevator Nights" live events, which have facilitated learning and networking opportunities for thousands of entrepreneurs across various sectors, including cannabis and cryptocurrency, with the active participation of renowned investors.[9]

As a serial entrepreneur and angel investor, Fleyshman has a track record of investing in and advising over 36 diverse companies, including mobile apps, tech companies, and consumer brands. His success as an angel investor inspired him to launch the Elevator Rolling Fund and the Elevator Syndicate Fund in collaboration with Angelist, with the aim of expanding opportunities for both entrepreneurs and investors.[10]

He is the co-founder of "Cards & Coffee," a sports card business, and also serves as the Director of Gaming at EngageBDR, an online advertising network.

As a seasoned speaker and author, Fleyshman has spoken at more than 250 events around the world.[11] He is also behind the popular "100 Million Mastermind Experience," which he created alongside Cody Sperber and Joel Marion to share their experience with investors and business owners.[12]

Fleyshman co-wrote the book "How to Set-Up Your Business for Under $1000" with Branden Hampton in 2016.[13] In June 2021, he published a book titled "How to Set-Up Your Personal Brand for Under $1,000," where he shares his personal experiences and methods for creating thriving brands.[14][15]

Philanthropy

As an active philanthropist, in 2011, Fleyshman founded the Model Citizen Fund, a non-profit organization that provides assistance and support to those in need, including homeless and hungry people in the United States. The organization provides backpacks filled with 150 items to homeless individuals in cities on the West Coast and across the globe. Through this initiative, many individuals have been provided with housing, food, and other basic necessities.

Personal life

Fleyshman currently resides in Los Angeles, California, along with his wife, Casey Fleyshman, whom he married in 2018.
