Dalton Luka (born 6 September 1994) is an American SEO consultant and digital marketing professional. Luka currently serves as the SEO strategist for Clix, a leading marketing agency based in St. Louis.[1] He is also founder of daltonluka.com, where he shares industry insights about Local SEO as a subject matter expert.[2]
Luka is an expert in search engine optimization, web design, Amazon PPC, and social media marketing. He is regarded as a social media management guru who has amassed a large network that allows brands and businesses to gain instant visibility. Luka is well renowned for his expertise in gaining online traction for his customers, and he is widely regarded as one of the top SEO consultants in the United States.[3]
Early life and education
Luka was born in Springfield, Illinois on September 6, 1994, to Andrea and Chris Luka. He grew up in Dawson, Illinois, and attended Tri-City Community Unit School District 1 from kindergarten to high school. Dalton spent a lot of his time as a kid playing sports, mostly baseball. He credits his time on the field for much of his competitive entrepreneurial nature.
Luka went on to Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUe) to pursue his business education after graduating High School in 2013. He acquired a B.S. in Marketing and B.S. in Business Management.
Luka relocated to St. Louis, Missouri, in 2017 in order to seek business opportunities. This has included assisting a number of non-profit organizations with their marketing efforts and offering local business owners guidance on search engine optimization.
Career
Luka began his career in 2017 as an SEO Consultant when he assisted Take the Reins St. Louis, a mental healthcare facility with their digital marketing needs.[4]
In 2018 Luka began working with VIE Media, a start-up marketing agency that assists local businesses with digital marketing and branding services. During his time there, Luka collaborated with a number of well-known entrepreneurs, including Garrett Atkins, Eric Brown, and Alex Dietrich, to help grow the agency. He also served as a brand ambassador for the company for his tenure of over two years.[5]
Later in 2019, Luka sold his shares of the company and began offering his services privately. He established a private SEO Group and daltonluka.com, an informative platform to share resources and information about Local SEO. Since then, Luka has been offering a vast range of services to help businesses gain traction including web design and search engine optimization services.
Apart from that, Luka maintains a very active online blog where he provides his marketing expertise and advice. Throughout his career, Luka has also published articles to a variety of publications and has participated in a number of podcasts and interviews. As of 2021, he is an SEO strategist at Clix, a marketing agency based in St. Louis.
