Cobby Awadzie is a Ghana-based entrepreneur, model, and social media influencer. He is the founder of Cobby Awadzie Fashion Group, a Blackice clothing line that has locations in Ghana, London, and the United States.[1] Awadzie is known for his captivating style and looks. He has built a huge following on his Instagram account. As a fashion model, Cobby Awadzie has worked with some of the most recognizable brands in the United States and across the globe, which includes Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, and Dior.
Born in Tema, Ghana,Cobby Awadzie, in a short span of time, has achieved fame as a model. He uses Instagram and other social media networks to connect with people and motivate migrant workers and young people in Ghana through his success story.[2] Cobby Awadzie has inspired several young people to get out of their comfort zone and seek jobs in more developed countries.
He has also received the Most Fashionable Student Award.
Early life and education
Cobby Awadzie was born in Tema, Ghana, where he had a very humble beginning. He has seen the difficulties that his parents had to go through in order to raise him and his three younger brothers and sisters. Right from his childhood, he had bigger dreams to pursue his career as a fashion model. When he was a teenager, he moved to the United States to fulfill his dreams.
Career
Cobby Awadzie has appeared in a number of photoshoots for local advertisements as well as national campaigns in Ghana when he was a teenager. After a while, these encounters shaped his desire to become a lifestyle model, while working for apparel companies and with fashion stars.[3]
After moving to the United States, very quickly, Cobby Awadzie gained fame as a fashion model and worked with a number of top brands of the world. The success inspired him to motivate youth from Ghana and nearby countries to take their life seriously and learn new skills to help them establish their career in the developed countries. Since then, Cobby Awadzie has also seen a huge increase in followings on his social media handles, as more people from similar situations look to Awadzie for inspiration.
In an interview, Cobby Awadzie shared that, “He hopes to achieve financial independence one day so that he may begin supporting charitable organisations and perhaps launching some of his own projects to help the less fortunate in his home country of Ghana.”
He has also founded Cobby Awadzie Fashion Group, a Blackice clothing line that sells its line of apparels throughout the globe.
