Chitiz Agarwal is an entrepreneur and a Salesforce guru with many years of IT experience.[1] He is the founder and CEO of Techila Global Services, a global provider of Salesforce consulting and development, and outsourcing services. [2]
Agarwal has worked with IBM and Accenture and also integrated with major brands like QuickBooks, Xero, WordPress, Moodle, Goto Meeting, Dropbox and Amazon.[3]
Early Life and Education
Agarwal attended Hartmann College in Bareilly until 2002, followed by Springdale College in Pilibhit from 2003 to 2004 for his school and high-school education. In 2008, he graduated from SRMSCET, Bareilly with a Bachelor of Technology (Computer Science) degree.
Career
From 2009 to 2011, Agarwal worked at Accenture as a software engineer focusing on Salesforce projects. Thereafter, he joined IBM as a Salesforce CRM consultant from 2011 to 2012.[4] He then proceeded to form Cloufi and work as a principal consultant there and continues to do so even today.[5]
In 2012, he founded Techila Global Services and is presently its CEO. Techila Global Services is a leading provider of Salesforce consulting, technology, outsourcing services and local professional services.
Agarwal, in addition to providing significant Salesforce development and consulting services, offers free Salesforce training to aspiring IT professionals through the Techila Academy platform.[6] Agarwal has also developed Switch.do, an online job portal to assist qualified candidates in finding and applying for relevant IT jobs. [7] Techila Global Services launched Techila Academy 2.0 to commemorate its 9th Anniversary.[8]
In 2021, Agarwal launched Company Bench under Techila Global Services.[9] Company Bench aims to reduce the bench resource loss experienced by firms with underutilised resources. Companies can avoid income leakage and maximise their resources by deploying professionals directly through an online portal. The goal of Company Bench is to treat employees who are "on the bench" as important assets who can be used to help the company. [10]
Awards and Honours
Since 2020, Agarwal an official member of the Forbes Technology Council, an exclusive group of world-class CIOs, CTOs, and technology leaders.[11]. Mr Agarwal is also a part of the Trailblazers Community and is currently the Community Group Leader.[12] This community is a network of Salesforce experts who assist their colleagues and partners in getting the most out of Salesforce and helping the company develop.
