Chalet Lizette Brannan (born April 12, 2005) is an American multi-award-winning teen actress and philanthropist best known for her roles in Occupants, Star Trek : Renegades, The Sparrows Nesting, and most recently Batman Dying Is Easy and 1800HotNiteFilm.[1] She won her first supporting role in The Sparrows. She is regarded as one of the most popular actresses in Hollywood, mostly appearing on Netflix & Amazon Prime Video.[2][3]
Apart from her acting career, Brannan is also a philanthropist who is often seen supporting and involved with a number of charities.[4] She is also the official ambassador for Along Comes Hope, a charity that helps children with cancer and other serious illnesses. She has also appeared on prominent talk shows to assist youngsters in dealing with and overcoming cancer.[5]
Brannan rose to prominence with her performance on Tinker and since then has received numerous nominations and accolades including Best Young Actress from the Young Artist Academy and Humanitarian Award. As of 2021, Brannan’s net worth is estimated to be between $4 - $7 Million.
Early life and education
Brannan was born on 12 April 2005 to Russell Brannan and Iris Brannan in Orlando, Florida. Her father is a renowned producer and casting director. She completed her primary and secondary education from Davenport School Of The Arts in 2012 and then enrolled in the CHAMPS Charter High-School Of The Arts, graduating in 2020.
Simultaneously, Brannan also received special training in dance, singing, and acting from Mark Wright at Shout Entertainment. In 2016 she enrolled in Performance Academy learning different forms of dance - Jazz, Ballet, Acrobatic, Hip-Hop, Tap, and Tania.
Career
Brannan started her career as a model before pursuing a career in the entertainment industry. She began modeling when she was six years old. A year later, Brannan began landing roles in television shows and films. Her debut was directing “Saving A Manatee,” a public service announcement for Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom. From there, she went on to film in a variety of genres.[6]
Brannan got her first major role in a 2012 episode of Hit Women. Since then she has played integral roles in a number of highly acclaimed horror films such as Occupants, Alice in Zombieland, and Asarum. She was also called in the science fiction series Dystopia, which premiered in 2016. Brannan further became a well known Hollywood celebrity with her prominent roles in Blockbusters like Star Trek: Renegades and The Sparrows Nesting for which she received her first Award as a supporting role.[7]
Brannan was diagnosed with stage four Burkitt lymphoma, the world's fastest-growing cancer, in July 2015, putting her budding acting career on hold. Following her cancer recovery, she became actively involved with a number of cancer-related organizations. Brannan is presently the official ambassador for Along Comes Hope, a charity that aids children suffering from cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. She's also made appearances on well-known talk shows to help young people cope with and overcome cancer.[8]
In 2017, she was seen in Varushka Franceschi’s movie, “A Crack in Everything” as T'Rin. After that she has appeared in Natasha Kermani’s movie “Shattered” in the role of Chelsea and Sonny Marler’s Tinker as Abby. Brannan has also appeared in the short movies Fleur and Hungryland. She has also worked in TV series Chosen Kin Origins: New Breed, Replica and Chosen Kin Origins. Brannan had appeared in “Cries of the Unborn” and “Khali the Killer” in the same year.[9]
From 2018, Brannan was first seen in TV Series, Chosen Kin Origins: New Breed as Nari. She has starred in six movies in 2018, the first of which was director James Ojala’s Strange Nature, followed by Junkie, Crepitus, Impact Event, The Power of Forgiveness and television movie, Paradox City.[10]
2019 was a successful year for Brannan, she played the role of Celeste Donavan in Horatio Tihanyi’s Storm Cell. Brannan was then seen as Victoria in Heavenly Deposit, directed by Rick Irvin and George Vincent. She got the role of daughter in the television series, Dystopia. Then she was seen as Silly Lilly in Clown Motel: Spirits Arise, Donna Elaine in Vengeance and Lilia in TV Series Endeavor.[11]
In 2020, Brannan starred alongside Terrence Edmonds and Charlotte Evelyn Williams in the television series Wicked Enigma. Another role she had in the year was Brandon Amelotte’s Camp Twilight as Jessica Bloom. In 2021, she was first seen in the short movie, Dying Is Easy and then in Cold Blooded Killers as Mary. There were several movies that were in completed and post-production stage in 2021 such as Ride the Wanted Trail, Renegades: Ominara, My Panda, Friday The 13th: Leah, Misadventure, Night of the Zomghouls, For Nothing and several others.[12]

Brannan, in her free time, likes to do Ice Skating, Gymnastics, Soccer, and Figure Skating. She is also passionate about traveling. Brannan currently lives in Haines City, Florida.
