Chadwick Pelletier (born September 25, 1973) is an American filmmaker, WGA screenwriter, and entrepreneur. He is the founder and CEO of Veritas Film & Television and the writer and director at CoffeeRing Entertainment. Additionally, Pelletier is the owner and creative director of Wickster, Inc.[1]

Pelletier's notable works include "SuperFLY" (2013), "The Rogue Report" (2014), "Boxed" (2015), "For Blood" (2015), and "She Will Be Loved" (2017). He has been recognized with the Golden Eagle Award at the San Diego International Film Festival for "For Blood" and two Red Poppy Awards for "She Will Be Loved."[2]

In 2017, he founded the DaVinci International Film Festival, which has garnered acclaim as one of the top-reviewed film festivals globally.

Early life and education

Pelletier was born and raised in Colorado, where he pursued downhill ski racing and martial arts. He aimed for Olympic-level competition in skiing.

Pelletier attended Colorado University, Boulder, before transferring to Harvard University, where he graduated with honors. He then moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

Career

Pelletier began his career in the entertainment industry as a voiceover artist for DIC Entertainment's renowned cartoon series "Where on Earth Is Carmen Sandiego?" in 1994. He has guest starred in TV shows like "Brotherly Love" and "Beverly Hills, 90210." In 1999, he appeared in Toby Keith's music video, "You Shouldn't Kiss Me Like This." Pelletier has also appeared in various commercials and print campaigns.[3]

In 2001, Pelletier ventured into writing his first feature screenplay and subsequently, developed projects for leading production companies and networks in Hollywood.

In 2007, Pelletier established Veritas Film & Television (VFT), a multimedia and creative development company under PMG Holding Co. The company is known for producing award-winning short films, narrative features, and TV content.

Pelletier is the owner and creative director of Wickster, a global media agency founded in 2006. The company oversees publication and brand development in over 20 countries, including JustWrite Coffee Company, Coffee Ring Entertainment, and MuseqCity TN.

In 2010, Pelletier founded CoffeeRing Entertainment as an indie division of VFT, focusing on producing short-format content for festivals and streaming platforms. Pelletier has written, produced, and starred in acclaimed films like "SuperFLY" (2013) and "Boxed" (2015) under this banner.

In 2017, Pelletier established the DaVinci International Film Festival, hosted at AMC Theaters in The Grove in Los Angeles. The festival celebrates independent cinema and awards excellence across four categories. It is recognized as one of the top-reviewed film festivals globally.

In 2023, Pelletier launched JustWrite Coffee Company, catering to writers with high-quality, single-origin coffees.

Since 2015, Pelletier has been a member of the Writers Guild of America, contributing to various genres like action, sports drama, crime, thrillers, and historical epics.
