Brian E. Blick, M.D., is a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain medicine physician based in Elk City, Oklahoma.[1][2] He is a provider at many of the hospitals in the area along with running his own practice, Western Oklahoma Pain Specialists and Comprehensive Pain Center.[3][4][5]
Personal Life and Education
Dr. Blick began his university education at the University of Oklahoma where he received Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Business Administration/Marketing and then went on to receive his Bachelors of Science at the University of Central Oklahoma. After graduating, he attended Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica, and received his Doctorate of Medicine. After receiving his MD, he attended the University of Kansas – Wichita for his Anesthesiology residency.
Career
Dr. Brian Blick is a board-certified anesthesiologist[6][7] and holds medical licenses in Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana.[8] Dr. Blick is a provider at many different hospitals in the Western and Central Oklahoma regions specializing in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. After completing his residency, Dr. Blick became Chief of Anesthesia at Great Plains Regional Medical Center, and is the founder of Western Oklahoma Pain Specialists, his pain management practice.[9] He is also co-owner of Comprehensive Pain Center.[10]
Certifications and Qualifications
Dr. Blick also has many other qualifications which include: Medical Education and Training Services (METS), American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI), American College of Surgeons Ultrasound Certification, Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification (BCLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support Certified (ATLS), American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians Certified, American Board of Anesthesiology Certified.[11]
Philanthropy
In 2022, Dr. Blick launched his Dr. Brian Blick Scholarship for Medical Students of America, which provides scholarship funding for students who are studying on the road to become physicians.[12][13][14]
