Bishop Adekunle Ajala (born July 22nd, 1960) is a leader and Visionary, life, ministry coach, and mentor who is best known as the founder of Hands On World Mission and the President and CEO of AdeAjala Ministries. Ajala was consecrated as a bishop in June 2018.[1]

Early life and education

Israel Adekunle Ajala was born in Osogbo, Nigeria, to Samuel Adeniran Ajala and Comfort Ajala on July 22nd, 1960. He belongs to a Christian and a tight-knit family. His mother was a missionary to the Muslim world, and his father was a community leader and a great musician.

Ajala was taught the way of the Lord from an early age. He went to a Muslim elementary school, where he studied the Quran. Thereafter, he attended a Catholic high school and graduated with a bachelor’s in economics from Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria. Ajala pursued his doctorate at the Denver Urban Institute.

Career and Spiritual Milestones

It was in 1973 that Ajala gave his life to Christ and became committed to the Lord’s vineyard. After his ordination as a pastor and some brief ministry work in Nigeria, he followed the instruction of the Lord to go to Ghana and join Youth With A Mission (YWAM). He later served on Mercy Ships, a missionary ship that travels around the developing world and provides medical assistance and the gospel of Jesus Christ to the poor.[2]

After traveling the world and ministering in over 58 countries, the Lord provided Ajala with the opportunity to rejoin YWAM in Denver, Colorado, USA. He later became a pastor at a church in the city, where he served in a variety of capacities until God told him it was time to give birth to the vision. Thereafter, Ajala started Hands-On World Missions (also known as Kingdom Connection Christian Center, K.C.C.C.)[3] on January 2, 2000 in his living room in Denver with eight people present in that first service. He was consecrated as a bishop in June of 2018.[4]

So far, Bishop Ade has ministered and made an impact in over 68 countries across the globe. He has been successful in preaching the gospel of the Kingdom of God, planting churches and empowering local church leaders through his leadership and training seminars.[5][6]

Ajala is also the host of Get Connected with Bishop Israel Ade-Ajala.

Personal life

Bishop Ade is married to Adeola Ajala, whom he met at the university. He proposed to her after two years of courtship. The couple has been married for 30 years now and have three children.
