Arsha Aghdasi was an Iranian stunt coordinator and Stunt performer.

Biography

He has been interested in sport since he was a kid. After some years, he learnt aikido and he could achieve his sport coaching certification. Following to his success, he received a sport scholarship from Italy; however, his familiarity with Peyman Abadi caused to stay in Iran. He became the host of TV program named «Aboatash». Furthermore, he became the coach of Peyman Abadi's stunting courses and the first Iranian coach of bungee jumping and wind tunnel classes. Finally, Arsha created 13 Stunt team on February2, 2007 and continued his activities in Iran and other countries. «Jamshid Arya»'s short film had been the first experience by him which had been made in a day to praise Jamshid Hashempour, the Iranian action actor and shown in Fajr Festival . This short film won an honors diploma in JIFF(Jaipur International Film Festival).

Experience

Karate, aikido, Equestrianism, parachuting, bungee jumping, BASE jumping, parkour, Martial arts, etc. are some examples of his activities. Moreover, he is working as a professional Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner at Iranian jiu-jitsu academy.

Death

Arsha Aghdasi had a serious accident on Wednesday, July 28, 2020, while working on a film project in Beirut, while filming a scene involving a car being left behind, after which he was taken to a hospital in Beirut, Lebanon. He died on 4 August 2021 in Beirut. With the consent of his mother, Arsha Aghdasi's organs were donated to transplant patients in need. His body was buried buried at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 13, in the Behesht-e Zahra artists' section, next to the tomb of Peyman Abadi, another famous stuntman who also died as a result of an incident on the set.
