Anas Dauda Sadauki (born March 13, 1986) is a Nigerian social entrepreneur and activist known for his significant contributions to promoting peace and countering terrorism in Northern Nigeria. He is the founder of Awareness Against Terrorism (AAT) and is currently recognized as a prominent figure in the youth for peace (YFP) movement, a volunteer-based organization dedicated to uniting young people against violence and drug abuse through peace education programs in schools and villages.[1][2][3]

Early life and education

Anas Sadauki was born in Yalwa Quarters, Dala Local Government Area of Kano State, Nigeria. He spent his formative years in this region, which has been deeply affected by terrorism and violent extremism. His educational journey began at Anwaru Special Primary School, where he studied from 1996 to 2002. Later, he attended Government Secondary School Dala, also known as Gwammaja One, and successfully graduated in 2008.[4]

Career

Anas Sadauki's life has been marked by adversity, including encounters with terrorists, surviving a kidnapping, and losing loved ones to banditry. In July 2016, he established "Awareness Against Terrorism" (AAT) to address these issues. His work includes victim counseling, peace education, and skills training, with a focus on raising youth awareness.
