Ammar Hammad Khan is a poet, writer, and blogger based in the Isle of Man, born on 10 December 1998, and has dual citizenship of Ireland and Pakistan. His work has been published by a variety of reputed companies including TeenInk and HarperCollins. Ammar was well-known for his writing skills in his teenage years, and was rewarded with a ‘Top in the World’ Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award in General Paper and won a prize at The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition.[1]

Ammar has worked for different organizations to gain experience; he is an author at HarperCollins, Amazon,[2] Wordpress and TeenInk.[3] Ammar used to be an associate at KPMG in Douglas, Isle of Man.[4]

Early years and education

Ammar was born in Mullingar, Ireland. His father was a consultant psychiatrist originally from Pakistan. He was a bright child who wanted to develop himself into an international poet and began working on it. Ammar was influenced by Robert Lowell, Anne Sexton and Sylvia Plath. He completed his academics from diverse schools including St. Colman’s National School, Scoil Naomh Fiachra Illistrin, Clyst Heath Primary School, Ballakermeen High School and further switched schools in 2013 to Lahore Grammar School Senior Boys Campus JT.[5]

He is currently attending Queen Mary University of London to read for the degree of Bachelor of Laws in Law (2022 - 2025).

Career

Ammar’s writings are published on diverse online platforms and he has worked with various successful companies.[6] With his incredible skills in writing his career grows faster and also assists him to gain recognition.[7]
