Alan Stalcup is an American entrepreneur and real estate investor, best known as the founder and chief executive officer of GVA Real Estate Group, where he is dedicated to transforming properties and communities through smart, community-focused initiatives.[1]

Early life and education

Alan Stalcup received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis in 1994.[2] He previously held positions with Accenture, Dell, and MomentumSI.[3] From 2003 to 2015, he served as CEO of CourseTrends, one of the largest providers of golf marketing systems in North America, which was eventually acquired by the PGA Tour.[4]

Stalcup has been involved in the real estate industry since 1999 and founded GVA Real Estate Group in 2015.[3] The company is committed to extracting maximum value from the real estate market through conventional and affordable opportunities, with a focus on expanding sub-markets.[5] Headquartered in Austin, Texas, GVA has expanded across the Southeast through a people-focused investment approach. Under Stalcup's leadership, the company has grown from just 312 units with 3 employees to transacting on 43,500 units across 20 different markets and building a team of 800+ employees totaling over $10 billion of transactional value.[6]

Philanthropy

Stalcup has a vested interest in philanthropy and donates time and resources to a variety of causes, including the Alan Stalcup Scholarship Fund, which covers tuition or academic expenses for preschool, high school, trade school, and college students.[7]
