Abhishek Mahankal (born January 16, 1996) is an Indian entrepreneur and financial expert. He is the founder and CEO of TRADR, a platform dedicated to mentoring and educating young people on stock market trading and financial management. With over 8 years of experience in the field of finance and trading, Mahankal has built a community of more than 38,000 people who are benefiting from his teachings on Instagram.[1]

Early life and education

Abhishek Mahankal was born and raised in Nagpur, Maharashtra. He is son of Krishna Mahankal and Radha Mahankal. He completed his schooling from Modern School, where he studied until 12th standard. Mahankal later enrolled in the Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering. However, he dropped out of college to pursue his entrepreneurial dreams and explore his interest in the stock market.

Career

After dropping out of college, Mahankal began investing in stocks and shares, building a sustainable wealth over time. He soon became passionate about the world of finance and trading and started to share his knowledge and experiences with others.[2]

Mahankal founded TRADR, an initiative aimed at educating young people about the stock market and guiding them towards a successful career in the Indian financial markets.[3] TRADR started as an Instagram page offering "Free Trades" and soon grew into a community of over 38,000 people. Today, TRADR is a leading platform for financial education in India, offering workshops, online videos, and mentorship programs to help young people build wealth without losing time or money.[4]

Mahankal's work with TRADR has earned him recognition from prestigious institutions such as NMIMS Mumbai, and his expertise has been featured in national dailies including Yahoo Finance, Hindustan Times, Zee Business, and Outlook India. He has also been invited to create a trading course for UnAcademy, which has over 30 million users.[5]

Mahankal's ultimate vision for TRADR is to turn it into an AIF institute managing 100 Crore plus funds and creating traders through TRADR Mentorship for the account management. He is passionate about building a remarkable team that is dedicated to educating young people about wise financial decisions through mentorship and student-teacher interaction.[6]
