Zaan Khan is an Indian actor and model. He made his acting debut with the 2013 film Satyagraha (film) and his first lead role came with the television show Jhalli Anjali Ke Tootey Dil Ki Amazing Story. He went onto play supporting roles in various television shows.

Zaan had his breakthrough with the lead role of Naksh Parekh in Hamari Bahu Silk and is best known for his acclaim role of Randheer Raizada in Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye.[1]

Early life

Zaan was born on 13 September,1993 in Bhopal. He attended Faclon High School, Falcon, Colorado, USA. He completed his graduation from Trinity Institute Of Technology & Research, Bhopal, with the degree in engineering. Zaan has a younger brother, Zeeshan Khan. He is a fitness freak.

Career

Debut and early career (2013-2017)

Zaan made his acting debut with a small role in Prakash Jha's 2013 film Satyagraha (film).[2] He then made his television debut with an episodic role in Yeh Hai Aashiqui as Param in the episode: FM Station along with Tia Kar. In 2014, he appeared in Channel V's Jhalli Anjali Ke Tootey Dil Ki Amazing Story as the lead Dhruv Sharma. He next appeared as Shrey in Yeh Hai Aashiqui Siyappa Ishq Ka alongside Jayshree Venketaramanan[3] and as Rohan in Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya (TV series).

In 2015, he appeared as a contestant on MTV Splitsvilla 8 and emerged as 2nd runner-up. In the same year he acted as Supercop Ashumu (Ashu) in SuperCops vs Supervillains. He also had an episodic role in Gumrah: End of Innocence.

In 2016, he palyed the role of Kunwar Jeevan Singh/Jeeves in Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani[4] and appeared in Yeh Hai Aashiqui as Vicky in the episode: Office Romance opposite Priyamvada Kant, he next appeared in Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya (TV series) opposite Sheena Bajaj.[5]

In 2017, he played the lead role of Yash, an easy-going, intelligent young man who loves adventures and is fun-loving, in his next Bollywood film Call For Fun opposite Charu Asopa.

Breakthrough and success (2018-Present)

2018 was a fruitful year in his career, He appeared as a Bollywood actor Karan Kapoor aka KK in Naamkarann receiving praises for his role and next appered as Varun in Ishqbaaz in the same year.[6] His negative character of Varun, attracted much acclaim.

He had his breakthrough in 2019, with Hamari Bahu Silk[7] , where he played the lead role of Naksh Parekh and the show was hit among the masses. He appeared in the 2020 music video Ishqdaari opposite Shivani Jha. The song was sung by Yasser Desai.

In 2021, Zaan received acclaim and praises for his role of Randheer Raizada in Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye[8][9]

The show was a hit among the masses and gave him immense popularity. Apart from acting, he also walks on the ramp for leading brands.
