Yell Advertising Group is a full-service advertising and digital creative company based in Bangkok, Thailand.[1][2][3][4][5] The company has a presence in multiple locations, including an arm in Singapore and an alliance in Shanghai, China.[6][7]

History

YELL is a thai agency that was founded in 2009 by four people in a small rented office space after sharing a bowl of MaMa instant noodles.[8][9] The name "Yell" was inspired by the yellow packaging of the noodles.[10][11][12][13] Over the years, YELL has grown from four founders to a team of 120 and has become one of the hottest agencies in Thailand, as recognized by Campaign Brief Asia.[14][15][16] YELL continues to compete with world-class network agencies and has acquired many top Thai brands. Additionally, YELL has established several affiliates, including YELL International (based in Singapore), Y Generator (a PR and influencer company), and KOHLIFE (a tech company).[17][18][19][20][21]

In September, Yell expanded its international reach by forming a partnership with creative firm Sounds Shanghai in China and started to market in China and ASEAN.[22][23][24] Yell has worked with various clients, including global advertisers such as CPF, Chang Beer, SCBx, iQIYI, Line, Lazada, Mitsubishi Electric, JCB, Chevron, eBay, and many more.[25][26]

Awards

Yell Advertising Group campaign Search "N" Ambush received a Bronze award in the New York Festival Advertising Awards 2021.[32][33][34][35] A Big Idea That Struck campaign was also recognized with a Bronze award at Spikes Asia 2022.[36][37][38] Additionally, The Birds and The Bees 2.0 received a Silver award at the Adman Awards 2021.[39][40][41][42] The company won two gold and two silver trophies at China’s ECI Awards, Shanghai International Advertising Festival, and ROI Awards.[43][44][45][46][47][48]
