Yaşar Vurdem (Born. 1994, Kayseri) is a Turkish illustrator and digital illustrator.
Life and career
Yaşar Vurdem was born on June 11, 1994 in Kayseri, Turkey. Yaşar Vurdem received his undergraduate education at Erciyes University Fine Arts Faculty and master's degree with thesis at Erciyes University Fine Arts Institute.[1] Vurdem is a Turkish illustrator known for his realistic portraits of womens. The artist has made resounding illustrations for many artists and companies. Such as, Adobe, Prime Video, Cem Adrian, Melek Mosso, Tanner Patrick.
Vurdem did sell his Billie Eilish Illustrations copyrights to Adobe Inc.[2] Vurdem's Billie Eilish illustration displayed on Adobe's global billboards in many places such as Las Vegas, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles in 2021.[1] Vurdem also designed Melek Mosso's 2019 album cover illustration " Sarıla Sarıla ", Cem Adrian's 2021 album cover illustration " Pervane ".[3] Tanner Patrick's Egham 2017 album cover. Vurdem is the first Turkish illustrator that Adobe wanted to personally reach and buy the copyright of his drawing.[4] Vurdem was influenced by science fiction works and worked on the harmony of light and shadow, and focused on bright colors and details.[5] The artist drew an illustration of Galadriel character to celebrate the release of the Lord of The Rings; Rings of Power series for Prime Video [6]. Vurdem is known digital artist with his woman illustrations, Vurdem's illustration's also used in Billie Eilish Happier Than Ever 2022 World tour concerts [7].
