worksocial is an American commercial real estate company that provides coworking spaces for individuals, teams, entrepreneurs and small businesses. It is a coworking space in New Jersey, New York, and California and was founded in 2015 by Natasha Mohan. Its headquarters are in Jersey City, NJ.[1]

WorkSocial is an ESG compliant, minority, female-owned and managed company that places importance on social equity. Their team is 95 percent female and ethnically diverse.[2]

History

In 2015, WorkSocial was founded in Jersey City, NJ by Natasha Mohan.

In December 2018, WorkSocial deployed and onboarded a local team for an Israeli company. It has provided temporary quarters with conference rooms, dedicated desks, and training rooms.[3]

In 2020, WorkSocial has made notable enhancements that include hospital-level cleaning protocols, a booking app, sit-stand desks by Wayfair, and ergonomic chairs by Shark Tank winner, ALL33.[4]

In June 2021, WorkSocial has created a satellite office for a global crisis management company. It has deployed three offices in a two-month period serving around 60 employees. The company has 100% staff attendance with zero sick days.[5]

In 2022, WorkSocial has stated an 80% sales growth in 2022 compared to the same time last year.[6]

In January 2022, WorksSocial announced a 6,000-square-foot office expansion at 111 Town Square Place in Jersey City in February 2022. Mohan claims a little more than 60% of it is already reserved.

Locations

WorkSocial has locations in New York, New Jersey, and California, with its registration in the United States. It has worked with some of the biggest brands in the world, including Google, Facebook, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and JP Morgan.[7]

WorkSocial offers individuals, teams, entrepreneurs and small businesses access to flexible workspace in a productive environment.[9]

WorksSocial’s services include providing private offices, dedicated desks, hot desks, meeting rooms, board rooms, and training and regeneration rooms. Other features include high-speed internet access, healthy food and drinks, office supplies, technology support and more.[10]

WorkSocial has DE-CIX as their internet provider that offers advanced Layer 2 switching platforms in the industry, allowing instant peering with hundreds of networks via the DE-CIX route servers.

WorkSocial's wireless network is secured by Cisco Meraki. Its wireless network automatically assigns rules and enforces policies for each user class, allowing clients to custom access and control their network.[11]

Philanthropy

WorkSocial comes together on a weekly basis to feed the local community at the St Joseph's Homeless Shelter in Jersey City, New Jersey.[12]

Their mission is to feed a million kids a year one day.
