Will Luhrs (Full name: William Nicholas Alexander Luhrs)[[1]] is a New Zealand-born singer, songwriter, and producer (born July 16, 2006). He started making music at the age of 14 releasing his first single in June of 2021 with "Just Monet" titled "Should I Have To Guess". The single gained over 20,000 streams on Spotify which he later removed in September of 2021 before releasing his debut E.P If All I've Got Is Love which Will produced and German Electro House music producer and DJ "Kuyano" Mixed and mastered. The E.P has since gained over 110,000 streams on Spotify[2] by means of users mentioning the song on the social media platform TikTok. Will's song "With You" from his E.P "If All I've Got Is Love" was played on "RNZ"[3] or "Radio New Zealand" on the show "Afternoons with Jesse Mulligan". To date Will has had his music played in over 40 countries around the world.
After the successful release of his debut, E.P Will Didn't release any further music until March 18, 2022, when he released his second single "Fine But Not Okay" [4] which was not as successful as his E.P release having only 3000 streams on Spotify, although that was Will's second song to be played on the radio in New Zealand having been played on "Plains Fm". Will followed that release with another single roughly two weeks later on March 4, 2022, titled "Fragile" which was a collaboration with the producer "BimBom" also known as "Declan O'Dempsey" [5] which was Will's first song in the Contemporary R&B genre, This single did much better than Will's previous release with over double the streams.
Early life and education
Will Luhrs was born in Auckland, New Zealand but raised in Christchurch New Zealand to Virinia Luhrs and John Luhrs and brother Alex Luhrs. For his primary education, Will attended Cathedral Grammar School and is a student and attending high school at Burnside High School in Christchurch New Zealand.
Partnerships, brand endorsement, and modelling
Will has worked with "Cam Dunstan" a photographer who owns "Dunstan Photography" from Christchurch since 2021, and Cam has done all of Will's album covers and social media photography. Will has also done modelling for Good Old Vintage
