Ashley and Emma is an American sister duo best known for their venture - WeWearCute and their digital presence. Ashley and Emma’s posts cover a wide range of lifestyle content ranging from - tweens’ fashion and makeup stylings, craft tutorials, peppy toy reveals, taste tests, day-in-the-life clips, and others. The duo has over 12 million TikTok followers with over 5 billion views across all social media platforms. They are best known for quirky TikTok videos and their arts and crafts and makeup lines for girls launched under the brand WeWearCute.[1]
The duo is regarded as one of the leading product advertisers, vastly popular for their eclectic lifestyle amidst the ‘tween demographic.’ They have done projects with several industry giants like Walmart, Spin Master,[2] Five Below, and others. Ashley and Emma have also been featured in an episode of Bestie Picks Bae by Seventeen Magazine amongst other media outlets.
Early life
Ashley and Emma were born in the 2000’s. The sisters have been inclined towards quirky and fun activities since they were young. Ashley, the elder sister, is fond of videography, and an avid pop culture fan, whereas Emma, is more inclined towards arts and crafts with a deep interest in interior designing and fashion.
Ashley specializes in the kids' entertainment sector and takes a lead on conceptualizing the duo’s content, whereas Emma specializes in researching and exploring new fashion trends and accommodating them into their work.
Career
Ashley and Emma have been creating content since a very young age, but it was in 2018 that they joined TikTok (formerly known as musical.ly).[3] Since then, the duo has been actively creating lifestyle content, covering various aspects of their lives - from quirky pranks to self-help tips, every little detail created with utmost uniqueness. As of 2021, the duo has gained massive recognition in the American TikTok industry, acquiring over 12 million+ followers.[4]
Ashley and Emma are not only active on TikTok but also on other major social media outlets including Instagram and Youtube. They have over 275K+ followers on Youtube and over 300K+ on Instagram.[5]
The duo is vastly known for creating trends rather than being a mere part of one. This unique stride is what separates them from the rest of the digital creators. Ashley and Emma, 17-year-olds have partnered with industry giants like Walmart,[6] Macy’s, Smyths, Spin Master, Five Below, and others. They were also invited to the 2018 VidCon as panelists, becoming the youngest live-streamers for LiveMe.
Apart from their career as leading digital creators and influencers, Ashley and Emma are also budding designers. They have released a makeup line for girls under their brand - WeWearCute, that has become quite a hit amongst their followers. The duo also released an arts and crafts line with Spin Master which includes Click N Color and Style N Create sets, staples for tween life. Their Build A Bear launched December 2020 and was a fan favorite. Ashley and Emma have also launched two clothing lines with Walmart.com in 2021.[7]
Personal life
Ashley is passionate about collecting toys and cooking fun foods for kids. Emma loves to paint, watch Disney movies, and keep up with the beauty trends.
