Vibhas Sawar is a musician, comedian and and entertainer since he was 5 years old. He used to perform with his dad in a Marathi/Hindi cover live shows across all India. Since then he developed a keen interest in marrying the performance and the technical aspect of the entertainment industry.

Early life

He grew up in Akurdi. He went to Camp Education Society's English Medium School, Nigdi. His interest in co-curricular activities heightened after his teacher in 7th grade gave him extra time after school to do mimicries of the teachers. He completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts (Applied Arts) from D._Y._Patil College of Applied Arts and Crafts, Akurdi, during which he was the first one to introduce multimedia as a form of dissertation for his final art submission. At the time he also dabbled in acting, writing and directing numerous local short films like Forget It on IMDb alongside Amey Wagh and Shruti Marathe as lead actors which later aired on Zee Yuva in 2016.

Career

Sawar began his career at the age of 5 performing along side his father and mother. He joined forces with his father and produced more than 50 contemporary and devotional albums for labels such as T-Series_(company) and Sagarika Music in the 90s.

He release his first solo album 'If You Know What I Mean' in 2010 under 'Virus Entertainment' and later launched 'Sound Silence Studios' in 2012, a studio space where he pursued his passion for music and films.

In 2012, he directed a music video for a Pune based hard rock band 'Silver' called Funkie Junkie on IMDb. The song was a part of the band's self titled debut album 'Silver' which later he aquired the rights to publish under his new label 'Triggared Records'. The music video was first aired on VH1_(Indian_TV_channel) and later picked up by MTV_(Indian_TV_channel) by popular demand. Funkie Junkie was one of the top ten requested music videos at the time.

In 2015, he was signed by 'Springboard Records' and 'Flying Carpet Productions led by Ashish Manchanda. He released 15 songs in 15 days in June 2018 which later dropped as an album '#15Days15Songs (The Complete Album)" under the artist name 'MISTAVIRUS'. His songs were mostly styled by the american pop music until 2017-2018.

In 2020, he left the record lael and joined forces with his father again and turned towards spirituality and enlightenment througha non-commercial organisation called 'Chiranjeev Peeth'. Later in 2021, he release his cover version of 'Zion Wolf Theme' by United_Kingdom based astist Jai_Paul which he recorded, shot and edited himself. As indicated at the end of the video. "I heard the song while I was showering. I thought there was something wrong with my speakers, which is exactly what the host on the radio said! My mind was blown". As it suggests at the end of the video, in total he has executed 22 different roles and the video was shot entirely on iPhone.

In 2022, he released his first Marathi song 'Tya Phulaa' composed and written by his father Pt. Raju Sawar.
