Vatera is a small village of 2047 hectares in Pindwara Tehsil in Sirohi district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Vatera depends on ABU ROAD, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 47.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Vatera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Vatera's pin code is 307024[4], and village code is 02365400. The area of Vatera is segregated as 454 hectares irrigated area, 1158 hectares unirrigated, the 170 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 43 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Vatera is a census village in the district of Sirohi, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3205 and has total administration over 6205 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of ABU ROAD and Sirohi to sell bricks and make their living.
