Uthman is a small village of 1343 hectares in Sheoganj Tehsil in Sirohi district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Uthman depends on SHEOGANJ, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 786.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Uthman is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Uthman's pin code is 307043[4], and village code is 02348200. The area of Uthman is segregated as 786 hectares irrigated area, 116 hectares unirrigated, the 184 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 256.81 hectare area not available for cultivation.
