UEEx is a cryptocurrency trading platform established in 2020.[1] The platform facilitates the buying, selling, and trading of digital assets.[2] The company emphasizes security, privacy, and user empowerment. With features such as futures, margin and copy trading, and support for stock trading, UEEx distinguishes itself as one of the fastest-growing cryptocurrency platform.[3]

History

UEEx was founded in December 2020 as a cryptocurrency exchange, providing a secure and user-friendly platform for crypto traders.[4][5][6]

In January 2022, the platform secured Money Services Business (MSB) licenses in the United States and Canada. These licenses, issued by FinCEN and FINTRAC (License num. M22339930), ensure that UEEx adheres to strict anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) protocols.[7]

In February 2022, UEEx's total user assets exceeded USD 1 billion.[8] In January 2023, the platform introduced margin trading and recorded a daily trading value surpassing USD 100 million. In July 2023, UEEx reached a milestone of over 500,000 registered users and expanded into Africa and Southeast Asia.[9]

In 2023, UEEx introduced the UE Coin Miner App on Telegram, which gained over 2 million users by July.[10] The successful presale of UE Coin raised USD 300,000, followed by a 170% price increase within 24 hours of its listing.[11][12]

In July 2024, UEEx reported significant growth, achieving key milestones in the global cryptocurrency exchange market. The platform experienced a rapid increase in user registrations and trading activity, particularly with the launch of its native token, UECoin (UE).[13]

As of August 2024, UEEx has over 13 million registered users worldwide and operates in 196 countries. The platform handles a daily trading volume exceeding USD 300 million, with total user assets surpassing USD 5 billion.[14]

Products and services

UEEx offers a variety of financial products tailored to meet the needs of both novice and experienced traders:

  • Cryptocurrency Trading: The platform supports buy, sell, and trade of over 200 active cryptocurrency pairs, including major coins like BTC, ETH, and SOL with fiat using credit cards, debit cards, and payment services like Visa and Apple Pay.
  • Trading:
  1. Futures trading: Perpetual contracts are available with up to 125x leverage for popular tokens.
  2. Stock Trading: UEEx supports stock trading, allowing users to diversify their portfolios. It offers access to 87 stocks listed on U.S. and Hong Kong exchanges, including companies like Nvidia, Tesla, Oracle, and Tencent.

  • UEEx provides additional features such as copy trading, trading bots, and demo accounts, which allow users to practice and refine their trading skills.

Native coin

UE Coin (UE) is UEEx's native cryptocurrency, operating on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). It has a fixed supply of 10 billion tokens, with a deflation mechanism in place to enhance its long-term value.

UE Coin is allocated across various areas, including early participants (5%), mining incentives (25%), founders/teams (30%), advisors (15%), community rewards (5%), and the UE Risk Mitigation Fund (20%).

UEEx uses 30% of its profits each quarter to buy back and burn UE tokens, thereby reducing the total supply and increasing the token's scarcity.

User statistics (as of August 2024)

  • Registered users: Over 13 million globally
  • Serviced countries: 196
  • Daily trading volume: Exceeding $300 million USD
