Tyler Fabian (06/14/1990) is a professional American soccer player who last played for Philadelphia Fury in the National Independent Soccer Association. Fabian had previously played for Swedish side Järla IF and the Harrisburg Heat (2012–) of the Major Arena Soccer League.

Early Life

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Fabian attended Thomas Jefferson High School (Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania) before playing collegiate soccer at West Virginia University Institute of Technology.[1]

College Career

While attending West Virginia University Institute of Technology Fabian spend three summers playing in the Premier Development League for the West Virginia Chaos (2012, 2014) and the Panama City Beach Pirates (2013).[2][3]

Club Career

Fabian signed with Swedish side Järla IF during the 2014 summer transfer window.[4] Making his debut in a 1-0 win against Tyresö FF on August 30th, 2014.[5] Fabian appeared on the popular game Football Manager under Järla IF FK in the 2015 updated version.[6] In February 2015 Fabian signed with the Philadelphia Fury in the American Soccer League (2014–2017).[7] [8] Highlighting his time with the Fury was a 1-1 draw against La Liga side SD Eibar in the LFP World Challenge.[9][10][11] As well as winning the American Soccer League (2014–2017) in 2017.[12] In December 2017 Fabian signed with the professional indoor team the Harrisburg Heat (2012–) of the Major Arena Soccer League.[13] Scoring his first goal in a 8-7 win over the Syracuse Silver Knights.[14] The Philadelphia Fury announced through a twitter pool on October 25th, 2018 that Fabian was the most capped player of the Philadelphia Fury in the modern era.[15] It was announced on August 12th, 2019 that the Philadelphia Fury had re-signed Fabian for their inaugural season in the National Independent Soccer Association.[16] [17] Fabian was released from his contract when the Philadelphia Fury announced that they were suspending operations.[18] [19]
